I lead Marketing at Conversion, and up until now I've also somehow been the person responsible for all of our brand work. It has been an absolute blast but unfortunately I'm drowning in work and have to let this go.

So, now I'm hiring a brand designer. Someone who owns our visual identity top to bottom and builds our design system at scale.

This will be the person who decides what Conversion looks like and feels like everywhere it shows up across every medium! The identity system (logo, type, color, grid, motion language), the guidelines we use to pass to our agencies and freelance partners, and how we think about craft and brand for the entire business. You'll bring it to life across web, social, launch creative, decks, and collateral. When we ship a new feature or run a launch, you're making the page look incredible, designing launch video, and setting the visual story. This is brand and identity work rather product UI (Levi owns our in-app surfaces), and not code. I'd rather see one brand you shaped end to end than ten logos you touched. Tool fluency is expected for this role (Figma, Illustrator, After Effects / Lottie / Figma Motion, Claude Design), and I'm looking for roughly 1 to 7 years of being an in-house brand owner.

The people who crush this role tend to be the same off the clock. The product sells: Conversion replaces the legacy stack that marketing teams hate, and the ROI is obvious in the demo. You won't spend your days convincing people the problem exists. Your job is to find the right people, earn their attention, and get them in a room with us. You'll be booking meetings that founders and our enterprise AE actually run, which means you'll see how six-figure deals get worked from your first week.

You'll also have real infrastructure behind you. The team is based in San Francisco and includes engineers, designers, and operators from Airbnb, Palantir, Pinterest, IMC, Shopify, LinkedIn, and Microsoft.\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE ROLE\n\nHey there! Neil here 👋, co-founder at Conversion. Just wanted to share my thoughts on the perfect candidate we're looking for as one of our first SDRs.\nHere's why this seat is a good one. The product sells: Conversion replaces the legacy stack that marketing teams hate, and the ROI is obvious in the demo. You won't spend your days convincing people the problem exists. Your job is to find the right people, earn their attention, and get them in a room with us. You'll be booking meetings that founders and our enterprise AE actually run, which means you'll see how six-figure deals get worked from your first week.\n\nYou'll also have real infrastructure behind you. Our GTM Engineering team builds the data pipelines, ICP models, and enrichment systems that power outbound, so you spend your time on the highest-value work: sharp research, personalized outreach, and great conversations. This is the first dedicated SDR seat at Conversion, and the path from here into a closing role is direct for people who perform. This role is in-person 5 days/week in San Francisco.\n\n\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\n\n - Prospect into our ICP: marketing and marketing ops leaders at fast-growing and enterprise software companies\n\n - Run personalized outbound across email, phone, and LinkedIn to book qualified meetings for our AE and founders\n\n - Qualify and route inbound leads with fast, thoughtful follow-up\n\n - Work with our GTM Engineer to sharpen targeting, test new plays, and turn intent signals into pipeline\n\n - Keep CRM data clean so the whole team can trust pipeline reporting\n\n - Hit and exceed weekly and quarterly meeting targets\n\n - Help write the SDR playbook: what you learn becomes how we scale the team\n\n\n\n\nYOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU\n\n - Are early in your career (0-2 years of experience) and hungry to build one in sales\n\n - Are a strong writer and communicator who can hold a conversation with a VP of Marketing\n\n - Are competitive, coachable, and resilient. You learn from every no\n\n - Are organized and consistent: you run your day like a system, not a scramble\n\n - Want to be in-person with a high-intensity team in San Francisco\n\n\n\n\nYOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU\n\n - Have competed at a high level in something: athletics, debate, competitive clubs, or anything with a scoreboard\n\n - Have SDR, sales, or customer-facing internship experience at a startup\n\n - Are comfortable with modern GTM tools (Salesforce, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, outbound sequencers) or pick up new tools fast\n\n - Get energy from AI and want to sell a product at the frontier of it\n\n\n\n\nUSEFUL LINKS\n\n - Website: https://conversion.ai/\n\n - Learn more about our company culture here: https://conversion.ai/careers\n\n - Check out this Next Play article about our team! https://nextplayso.substack.com/p/how-a-big-pivot-helped-this-company"},{"id":"22878c24-0398-4981-9d0d-9df549ce0d08","title":"Content Marketer","department":"Marketing","team":"Marketing","employmentType":"FullTime","location":"San Francisco Office","secondaryLocations":[],"publishedAt":"2026-07-29T21:24:19.167+00:00","isListed":true,"isRemote":false,"workplaceType":"OnSite","address":{"postalAddress":{"postalCode":"94105","addressRegion":"California","streetAddress":"575 Market St","addressCountry":"USA","addressLocality":"San Francisco"}},"jobUrl":"https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/conversion/22878c24-0398-4981-9d0d-9df549ce0d08","applyUrl":"https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/conversion/22878c24-0398-4981-9d0d-9df549ce0d08/application","descriptionHtml":"
About Conversion

Conversion is the agentic marketing automation platform. Just wanted to share my thoughts on the perfect candidate we're looking to join our product team:\n\n - Product focused: There are a lot of features that go into a marketing automation platform, and we're looking for engineers who can own entire products and scope out, design, and build them end to end. We believe the best PMs are engineers who understand the pain point, since they can best evaluate both the benefit and the cost of building a feature.\n\n - Exceptional design taste: We believe great software should be as beautiful and intuitive as it is powerful.
