Working on the Security Functional Team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our security capabilities keep pace with our rapid product development, including our expanding AI offerings like Duck.ai and agentic browsing, directly protecting our users across all our products. As a Senior Security Engineer, App Sec, you'll execute on SERP security mitigations (XSS prevention, tooling development to help engineers write safer code), manage application security scanning infrastructure setup, build and maintain harnesses that get security fixes out automatically, harden our agentic browsing and DuckAI experiences against emerging threats (like prompt injection), conduct browser and sync security audits (special pages, DuckAI integrations, password manager, etc.), deliver on internal red-team operations (simulated attack scenarios), support security triage, and more!

As a Senior Product Partnerships Manager on the Partnerships team, you’ll lead DuckDuckGo’s most complex Product partnerships and drive strategy — sourcing, negotiating, and scaling high-impact deals with partners that can materially enhance our entire portfolio of products (search, Duck.ai, Privacy Pro subscriptions, etc) and work on related projects. Reverse-engineering how sites detect our privacy protections and building countermeasures that keep pages working
Shimming browser APIs so sites work seamlessly across different browser engines and system webviews
Building LLM agent pipelines that automatically reproduce and triage reported site breakage
As a Senior Web Compatibility Engineer, you'll be our resident expert on why websites break and how to fix them: owning the webcompat side of our triage process, debugging gnarly issues in code you don't control, distinguishing site bugs from browser bugs from privacy protection-induced breakage, leading the charge when a top site breaks and becomes an incident, shipping durable fixes across every platform, and work on related projects that prevent user churn and keep users coming back to DuckDuckGo.
