As a member of the Strategy & Operations Associate, you’ll be the connective tissue across Farsight: translating ideas into execution across product, engineering, customer success, and leadership.
You’ll partner closely with engineers to help design and shape new product lines. You’ll work hand-in-hand with customers — from onboarding to advanced workflow design — ensuring each client is successful and fully activated. You’ll help define platform direction, prioritize features, and operationalize strategic initiatives. Partner with engineering to scope, test, and launch net-new features and workflows.
Serve as a hands-on advisor to strategic customers, guiding onboarding, product setup, and early use-case design.

Drive cross-functional initiatives that require coordination across the whole organization.

2 - 4 years of experience in investment banking and/or private equity.

The Role
Farsight is moving fast, and as our product and enterprise customer base scale, the way we coordinate work across our technical teams has become one of our highest priorities. This role exists to make that happen.
As our Technical Project Manager, you will sit at the intersection of our Software Engineering, AI, and Infrastructure & Security teams. You will own our application lifecycle management process end to end: every project — from enterprise feature commitments to internal platform work — will run through the process you operate, with clear requirements, owners, sequencing, and timelines at every stage.
You will work as the direct counterpart to our Product Manager. The Product Manager brings priorities, requirements, and customer context in from our GTM org; you turn those into scoped, sequenced, and tracked projects across the technical teams, and deliver realistic timelines — built from estimates by the engineers doing the work — back up so GTM always knows where things stand. Together, you and the Product Manager will jointly prioritize the roadmap based on customer importance on one side and engineering cost, dependencies, and duration on the other.
Today, much of this coordination is done ad hoc by our engineers on top of their day jobs. Your success means they never have to do it again.
This is not a coordination role for someone who likes to run meetings. It is a high-ownership, high-impact position for someone who gets uncomfortable when things are unclear and fixes them. This is a role reporting to our COO!
What You'll Do
Own our application lifecycle management process end to end — every project moves through clearly defined stages with documented requirements, owners, and definitions of done, and you make sure nothing gets lost, stalled, or misunderstood along the way
Build project timelines from estimates provided by the engineers doing the work, track progress against them, and communicate status and changes to the Product Manager and GTM org so expectations always match reality
Partner with the Product Manager to jointly prioritize projects, weighing customer and GTM importance against engineering effort, dependencies, and tradeoffs
Coordinate requirements, sequencing, and dependencies across the Software Engineering, AI, and Infrastructure & Security teams — including the security and scalability work required to take features from working to enterprise-ready — so no team is blocking another
Manage projects with hard customer deadlines: identify risks early, and when things take longer than expected, drive the decision on what to cut, resequence, or renegotiate to get delivery back on track
Take coordination and process work off our engineers' plates so they can focus on building
Run sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives with a focus on velocity and clarity, not ceremony
Surface blockers early, escalate when needed, and drive resolution without creating overhead
What We're Looking For
4+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or a closely related role, ideally at a startup or high-growth tech company
Strong technical fluency: you don't need to write code, but you need to understand how software gets built, what makes something technically complex, and why timelines slip
Proven ability to coordinate across multiple technical teams — software engineering, AI/ML, infrastructure, DevOps, security — and translate between them
Experience building realistic delivery timelines from engineering estimates and holding teams accountable to them without burning trust
Highly organized with a low tolerance for ambiguity: you create clarity where others leave things vague
Above and Beyond Qualifications
Experience at an AI-native startup where non-deterministic systems added coordination complexity
Experience delivering into enterprise environments with security, compliance, or infrastructure requirements

Together, you and the Product Manager will jointly prioritize the roadmap based on customer importance on one side and engineering cost, dependencies, and duration on the other.\n\nToday, much of this coordination is done ad hoc by our engineers on top of their day jobs. Farsight's customers are some of the most security-conscious institutions in the world. Many of them require Farsight to run inside their own cloud environment or on-premise, and every deployment comes with its own network, identity, compliance, and change control requirements. As a Professional Services Engineer, you will be the technical expert who makes those deployments happen.
You will work hands-on with our customers' IT, security, and infrastructure teams to scope, architect, and deliver Farsight deployments across our three models: Farsight-hosted VPC, customer cloud, and on-premise. Think of it as the customer-facing side of cloud infrastructure engineering. You will bring a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, enterprise security, and delivery best practices, and you will translate our platform into something a bank or PE firm's IT team can approve, deploy, and trust.
Lead the technical delivery of customer deployments, including customer VPC, customer cloud, and on-premise environments, from kickoff through production go-live.
Partner with customer IT, security, and infrastructure teams to review architecture, network topology, identity and access requirements, and data flows, and drive technical approvals to closure.
Support pre-sales technical scoping, including dataflow diagrams, architecture documentation, and responses to security and compliance questionnaires, so engineering and leadership are not pulled into each new customer request.
Work with Strategy and Ops and GTM to confirm technical feasibility before commitments are made to customers, and communicate constraints clearly in both directions.
Build and maintain deployment automation using infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform) so every customer deployment is repeatable, auditable, and secure.
Design and document runbooks, reference architectures, and onboarding playbooks, and run knowledge transfer sessions so customer teams can operate and maintain their environments.
Troubleshoot deployment and integration issues in customer environments, working with Infrastructure and Platform Engineering to resolve root causes and feed fixes back into the product.
Serve as the technical voice of the customer internally, surfacing recurring deployment friction and customer requirements to inform the infrastructure and product roadmap.
Support customer technical escalations and post-deployment health, including monitoring, upgrades, and change control coordination.
5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, solutions architecture, or professional services and consulting, with a strong customer-facing component.
Deep knowledge of AWS services (ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, RDS, IAM, SSM, VPC networking) and experience designing and deploying production workloads on AWS.
Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform) and containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience deploying software into enterprise or regulated customer environments, including navigating security reviews, network restrictions, and formal change control processes.
Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, ISO) and the ability to speak credibly with customer security and compliance teams.
Strong communicator who can explain complex infrastructure concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and who builds trust quickly with senior customer counterparts.
Comfortable operating independently with limited structure, managing multiple customer engagements at once, and figuring things out without an existing playbook.
Able to write clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks.
NYC-based and able to work onsite, with willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
Prior experience in a professional services, solutions architecture, or forward-deployed role at a cloud provider or enterprise software company.
Experience deploying software into on-premise or air-gapped environments.
Experience with customer cloud deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Experience deploying infrastructure for generative AI or machine learning workloads.
Experience in financial services or other heavily regulated industries.
Salary range: $170,000 to $200,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

2+ years of experience in content design, brand design, or content marketing, ideally at a B2B or startup company.
A strong portfolio demonstrating a clean, modern, and professional aesthetic suitable for an elite enterprise and financial audience
