As our Head of Product & Engineering Operations, you will design, install, and run the engine across product, engineering, and design. You will help us find a better way by transforming our work into one unified, high-performing build process.
This role owns the ‘how’ we build. You install the operating model across product, engineering and design, and drive product, design and engineering leaders to run it. You have real influence with the CTO down.

Convene the Product, Design and Engineering leadership team to ensure continuous improvement of how we build great products at Funding Circle.
Integrate regulatory and compliance checks seamlessly into the core delivery path without slowing down shipment cycles.
A builder and innovator with proven experience scaling Product Development Lifecycles inside complex product organisations, operating as an embedded leader rather than an external consultant.
Strong experience in Product Management, Engineering, and Design, with the credibility to challenge leadership and bring teams together across all three disciplines.
The ability to take ownership of redesigning departmental workflows, and being up to date on how to use AI to build great products. You’ve built with Claude Code, Codex, or similar, and you’re excited about helping a whole organisation to build that way.
Confidence and credibility to hold MDs, VPs, and senior directors accountable to continuous improvements in how we build.
An understanding and of working within regulated environment and the complexities involved. It’s a bonus if you’ve worked alongside Risk and Compliance.
Familiarity with fintech, lending, or financial services compliance requirements.

We’re looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to lead, coach, and scale our Inbound sales team. You’ll be responsible for driving conversion, optimising processes, managing daily floor performance and more.
What you'll do:

The Account Manager is a proven high performer within the Inbound Sales team. This role is the Principal PM leading this platform, and reports into our Head of Engineering for Platform Capabilities. As the Product Lead across our platform capabilities, you'll:
Take time to truly understand internal customers like Risk, Operations, Sales and other Engineering teams & product teams, navigating competing priorities that don't always neatly align.
Set the strategy and roadmap for the platform capabilities the rest of the company builds on: identity and access, the services that tell every team who a customer is, and the engineering platform that makes our products tick.
Own migrations and decide when an option makes sense. When it does, committing and getting teams off the old version of something and onto the new one.
Partner with Architecture, Product Engineering and with the Product leads on Loans, FlexiPay and Cards, so your roadmap and theirs are one aligned conversation.
Participate in regular discovery with other functions, on the change management that gets them to adopt, and on deciding what to build next.
Ensure that the teams using these capabilities are able to ship faster and solve their own problems without coming to you.
Experience owning something other teams depended on by earning their adoption; not mandating it.
Enough technical depth for a straight conversation with Engineers about trade-offs, interfaces, and what a migration will cost, without losing sight of when to hand off technical decisions to them.
You can hold your own with Risk, Operations or Sales, with no authority over any of them. You go and find their next problem. You don't wait for a ticket.
Considered as AI-native, having built with Claude Code or Codex or similar, and you bring that into how you and your team design and build to support and not replace the core disciplines and values of good product management.
Ability to write and present clearly enough to get Architecture, Engineering, and Product leadership behind the same roadmap.
Experience working in fintech, or another regulated business with operational complexity.
Experience running a migration off a system people were attached to, and lived to tell the tale.

As Principal Data Engineer you are the primary technical authority for Funding Circle's Data Engineering and Data Platform architecture, designing innovative solutions on Snowflake and AWS. Champion data quality, lineage, observability and governance, ensuring checks, SLAs and alerting are expressed as code and monitored in production rather than asserted on a page.
As a key member of the Data Architecture Review Board, work on and carry formal decision rights over data architecture decisions, ensuring every proposal is engineering-viable, consistent with the platform direction and properly recorded.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in Data & Analytics, with experience in Staff, Principal (or equivalent) roles in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Platform, ideally within digital products or FinTech.

The Data Platform team builds and runs the platform that all Funding Circle data teams use. This includes our Snowflake platform, streaming and batch ingestion, orchestration, data contracts and the Data Product Portal.
We are in the middle of a big change. We are moving to Snowflake and to a federated \"Data as a Product\" model. This role will lead the engineering of that platform
Lead the technical direction of the Data Platform. Turn the target architecture into a clear, sequenced engineering plan, and keep the team aligned to it.
Own the technical quality of the platform: Snowflake infrastructure and RBAC, ingestion patterns, orchestration (Airflow), CI/CD, observability and cost controls.
Make and record technical decisions. Run the decision-document process. Make the final call when the team cannot agree, and escalate cross-domain decisions to the architecture review board.
Grow the team. Mentor engineers, spread knowledge so that no system depends on one person, and set a review culture that is fast and deep.
Make it easy for domain teams, Data Scientists, Analysts and AI Agents to build on the platform. Define standards and reusable patterns. Make sure that DP reviews do not block the domain teams, and work closely with the teams that use the platform.
Lead the platform side of the Athena → Snowflake migration: source landing, reconciliation and cutover evidence, and decommissioning of the legacy platform.
Own operational excellence with the Engineering Manager: on-call quality, alert quality, incident follow-ups, runbooks, and disaster recovery.
Own security and governance controls on the platform with Security and Data Governance.
Manage the technical relationship with platform vendors. This includes support cases, escalations and roadmap input.
Explain technical trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders and data leadership.
Set and evolve the team's standards for AI-assisted engineering, so that tools like Claude and Copilot are used safely and consistently.

At Funding Circle, our Complaints Team plays a vital role in ensuring that all customer complaints are handled fairly, and line with regulatory requirements. Manage and resolve a portfolio of complaints across the business to a high standard, and within regulatory timeframes.

This is a busy admin role where you will be reviewing and processing loan applications to provide fast, efficient funding to small businesses in the UK.
Reviewing financial accounts, bank statements and risk reports to process loan applications

We're looking for a Copywriter to join our Brand team for three days a week.
You'll take ownership of much of our campaign copywriting, reviewing, refining and sharpening copy so it's clear, persuasive and unmistakably Funding Circle. You'll work across brand and product campaigns targeting small businesses, on channels including email, web, digital, print, direct, audio, and organic social.
You'll need to be a self-starter who's comfortable working with a range of stakeholders, giving and receiving feedback, and turning things around quickly. You'll pick up our tone of voice as if it's your own and know instinctively when copy reads right and when it needs another pass.
Producing highly converting product copy and content for the website and cross-channel campaigns, working closely with the brand and design teams
Editing and refining campaign copy from across the team to ensure it's on-brand, consistent and conversion-focused
Copywriting for our Premiership Rugby partnership, including campaign headlines and digital ads
Helping teams across the business to deliver on-brand communications
Support the brand team on campaigns, events and other projects to grow the brand
Proactively spotting and flagging risks or issues, such as compliance-sensitive wording in a regulated industry
3+ years experience in a copy focused role
Experience writing marketing copy for email marketing, direct mail, social and blogs, and experience writing for website conversion a bonus
Excellent writing skills shown in a portfolio of work
Ability to follow brand guidelines and deliver tone of voice across all comms
Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and incorporating feedback
