We think that creates an opportunity to rethink how an enterprise marketing function should work from the ground up, especially in a market like healthcare where a relatively small number of complex accounts matter disproportionately.\n\n\n\nHealthLeap sells to some of the largest health systems in the country. Winning those accounts requires understanding how each organization works, identifying the people and priorities that matter, creating conviction across multiple stakeholders, and giving our sales team the evidence and tools to move complex deals forward.\n\n\n\nWe are looking for a high agency marketer to help build that system.\n\n\n\nYou will work closely with sales, customers, product, and the leadership team. You will start hands-on, experiment aggressively, and turn what works into repeatable systems. We want you using AI and automation wherever they increase leverage, while spending your own time on the judgment, creativity, customer understanding, and strategic thinking that matter most.\n\n\n\nThere is no mature enterprise marketing playbook to inherit. You’ll have significant latitude to help define how this part of the function should work.\n\n\n\n\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n\n\n\n\nBUILD EXCEPTIONAL ACCOUNT INTELLIGENCE\n\n - Develop a deep, continuously improving understanding of the health systems we most want to work with.\n\n - Map buying committees, executive priorities, organizational structure, strategic initiatives, existing technology, relationships, and relevant signals such as leadership changes, financial pressure, capacity constraints, quality initiatives, or new clinical priorities.\n\n - Turn that intelligence into something the commercial team can use to decide where to focus, whom to engage, and how to approach each account.\n\n\n\n\nDESIGN ACCOUNT-SPECIFIC STRATEGIES TO CREATE DEMAND AND MOVE DEALS\n\n - Treat our most important health systems as individual markets.\n\n - For each account, determine what is most likely to create engagement, build credibility, or advance a deal. That might include highly personalized outreach, executive content, customer introductions, digital campaigns, webinars, targeted events, direct mail, landing pages, thought leadership, or something entirely new.\n\n - You will have latitude to choose the intervention based on the problem rather than execute a predetermined channel calendar.\n\n\n\n\nMAKE OUR HIGH-PERFORMING SALES TEAM MATERIALLY BETTER\n\n - Build the information, narratives, proof, and tools that help our commercial team perform at a higher level throughout the sales process.\n\n - That could include account pre-reads, presentations, one-pagers, ROI models, competitive intelligence, discovery frameworks, executive meeting preparation, proposals, follow-up materials, or AI-powered tools that allow sellers to generate better account-specific materials themselves.\n\n - The standard is simple: does your work meaningfully increase our ability to win?\n\n\n\n\nTURN CUSTOMER OUTCOMES INTO A COMPOUNDING EVIDENCE ENGINE\n\n - Some of our most valuable marketing inputs already exist inside customer implementations, clinical outcomes, sales conversations, and the knowledge of our team.\n\n - Build a system for capturing that information and turning it into compelling proof.\n\n - You might create case studies, customer stories, outcome narratives, executive content, webinars, research, proof points, or new formats entirely. The stack is Python and TypeScript.\n\n\n\n\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\n\n - Deep backend engineering, 5+ years. You’ve designed, built, and operated production services, data models, and APIs.\n\n - A big part of your work has been integration engineering: connecting systems that weren’t built to talk to each other (the kind of work companies like Plaid, Stripe, or Merge are built around)\n\n - Customer-facing. You can hold your own on a call with a hospital’s IT or clinical team, scope what’s needed, and explain the tradeoffs\n\n - You debug fast: drop into a system you’ve never seen and work out how it behaves from the code, the logs, and the data\n\n - You build tools to kill your own busywork. \n\n - Strong SQL and a real feel for whether the data is right\n\n - You move fast and own the outcome\n\n\n\n\nWHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT\n\n - You’ve founded a company, or were an early engineer who owned the messy parts\n\n - Healthcare or EHR integration experience (HL7, FHIR). Useful here, but the backend and data instinct matters more.\n\n - You get a lot out of AI tools\n\n\n\n\nTHIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF\n\n - You’d rather maintain an interface than build the system\n\n - You want the spec handed to you\n\n - You want to stay purely heads-down. You’ll be in front of hospital teams regularly, on calls and in the detail with them.\n\n - You want predictable 9-to-5 hours. We protect deep rest, but a hospital go-live can mean a 60+ hour week.\n \n \n\n\nINTERVIEW PROCESS\n\nOur interviews look like the real job. No leetcode, no puzzles. Use the tools you’d use on the job, AI included.\n\n 1. Intro call - Get to know each other\n\n 2. Technical 1 - System design\n\n 3. Technical 2 - Live coding\n\n 4. Onsite - Meet the team in SF\n\nWe decide the same week as the onsite. If it’s a fit, you’ll know fast.\n\n\n\n\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\n\n - Salary: $200,000 - $275,000 base\n\n - Equity: Meaningful ownership in an early-stage company\n\n - Healthcare: 100% of premiums covered\n\n - PTO: Unlimited, 20-day minimum\n\n - 401(k): 4% match\n\n - Equipment: Laptop and a home office budget\n \n \n\n\nLOCATION\n\nSan Francisco, in person. Default is every day, and the flexibility is real: no tracking, no approvals, just drop “wfh today” in Slack when you need it. Rule of thumb is about 32 hours a week in the office. We judge output, not hours.\n\n\n\nIf you're passionate about applying frontier AI to real-world impact, join us in building healthcare's future."},{"id":"c68a437b-dd8a-4e14-9b4e-d6229951d0aa","title":"Full Stack Engineer","department":"Engineering","team":"Engineering","employmentType":"FullTime","location":"San Francisco Office","secondaryLocations":[],"publishedAt":"2026-05-05T22:07:24.931+00:00","isListed":true,"isRemote":true,"workplaceType":"Hybrid","address":{"postalAddress":{"addressRegion":"California","addressCountry":"USA","addressLocality":"San Francisco"}},"jobUrl":"https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/healthleap/c68a437b-dd8a-4e14-9b4e-d6229951d0aa","applyUrl":"https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/healthleap/c68a437b-dd8a-4e14-9b4e-d6229951d0aa/application","descriptionHtml":"<h1>About Healthleap</h1><p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Every day, millions of hospitalized patients who need intervention are missed because clinicians simply can't see everything.
