The Opportunity
As an Applied ML Engineer at Ideogram, you’ll bridge research and product – turning frontier generative models into production features across our first-party app and API. You’ll experiment quickly, build rigorous evaluations and datasets, and partner with research, engineering, infra, while working directly/frequently with clients to ship reliable and scalable ML systems. You’ll fine-tune and deploy models for creative use cases (text-to-image, image-to-text, image enhancement and editing, multimodal), set clear client success metrics (quality, latency, cost), and contribute to safety, monitoring, and reliability of systems. You’ll lead 0 to 1 projects that shape Applied ML enterprise practices at Ideogram, while delivering features that create delight and real value for our users.
What We’re Looking For
1+ years of building and shipping ML products
You write backend code in Python/ PyTorch/ Jax
You design benchmarks and evaluation metrics, run error analyses, and debug numerical stability across data, training, and inference

As a Software Engineer, ML Infrastructure at Ideogram, you'll build the systems that power training and serving for our generative AI models at scale. You'll work across the stack, from designing distributed training infrastructure to optimizing inference pipelines that serve millions of users, with a relentless focus on reliability, speed, and efficiency. Technical Excellence
1-4 years developing and shipping large-scale production infrastructure.

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Ideogram, you’ll be joining our early, expanding sales team and sit at the intersection of AI, creativity, and enterprise transformation. You’ll partner with some of the world’s most recognizable brands to rethink how design is created and scaled in an AI-native world, helping them unlock a new standard for quality, speed, and brand control.
You'll work directly with leadership, product, and engineering to establish Ideogram as the defining product for quality-obsessed brands. Enterprise sales excellence: 5+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience in B2B SaaS or technology, with a proven track record closing six- and seven-figure deals and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with enterprise companies.
Technical fluency: Experience with generative AI, creative tools, or a technical background that enables you to confidently discuss AI capabilities, integrations, and workflows with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You can clearly translate complex technology into business value for executive audiences.
Strategic deal execution: Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments across marketing, product, AI/ML, IT, procurement, legal, and the C-suite. Experience structuring and closing highly customized enterprise agreements and moving deals forward through complex buying processes.

About the Role
The Senior Open-Source ML Lead serves as a strategic bridge between Ideogram's internal research teams and the broader AI ecosystem. This person will own the vision for turning foundational research into high-quality, production-grade public tooling, while building and stewarding a thriving developer community around our work.
Responsibilities
Open-Source Strategy: Own and drive the vision for releasing open model weights, methodologies, and code, in close partnership with research and leadership.
Community Leadership: Oversee and scale our GitHub and Hugging Face presence, setting standards for repository quality, documentation, and contributor experience.
Advocacy & Outreach: Champion open science by building open-source demos (e.g., implementing LoRA fine-tuning for our models), publishing technical blog posts, engaging deeply with the community, and representing Ideogram at conferences and industry events.
Ecosystem Collaboration: Build and manage relationships with model providers, internal engineers, and external contributors to advance AI accessibility and Ideogram's standing in the open-source ecosystem.
Research-to-Release: Lead the conversion of internal, proprietary implementations into polished, reproducible open-source code, setting the bar for quality and usability across the team.
Mentorship & Influence: Guide internal engineers and researchers on open-source best practices, and help shape Ideogram's broader open-source strategy and roadmap.
What We're Looking For
Advanced degree (MS or PhD preferred) or equivalent extensive research experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or a related field
Proven track record of leading open-source ML projects with meaningful community adoption or impact
Deep, hands-on expertise in Python and ML research libraries such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow
Strong command of LLMs and modern deep learning architectures (e.g., Transformers, diffusion models, RLHF)
History of publishing research and/or maintaining widely-used open-source projects in ML, computer vision, or NLP
Established presence in the ML/open-source community (e.g., recognized contributions, talks, publications, or a strong following on relevant platforms)
Exceptional communicator, comfortable representing the company externally and building relationships with researchers, engineers, and the broader community

Ideogram is hiring its first Founding Marketer to own new media: an embedded storytelling function that turns launches, product ideas, founder perspective, customer insights, and conversational moments into compelling narratives across the channels our audience already follows.

Shape Ideogram’s story across X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other channels where our audience is already paying attention.
Work directly with our CEO and partner closely with product, design, creative, and GTM teams to turn launches, customer insights, product moments, and founder perspective into compelling narratives.
Create a repeatable system for how Ideogram communicates that favors speed and authenticity over layers of approval, while still protecting the things that matter.
Stay close to the work by writing copy, drafting posts, shaping landing pages, storyboarding videos, and talking to influencers or creators when it makes sense.
Use the support around you well, including designers, creative partners, video editors, contractors, and agencies, while helping define what this function can become as it grows.
A storyteller who operates like a builder, with strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to bring a team and audience around a clear narrative.
Someone who has built a brand, helped shape one up close, and/or built a meaningful personal presence of their own.
A strong understanding of new media: direct, fast-moving, audience-aware, and less dependent on traditional gatekeepers.
A hands-on operator who is willing to draft the post, shape the landing page, or test the idea directly.
Experience using AI tools in a creative or marketing workflow — whether image generation tools like Midjourney, Ideogram, or similar products, or tools like Claude Code and Codex to move faster on execution.
Curiosity, taste, and evidence of doing the work. A creative background is helpful, but a conventional resume matters less.
