For coaches, YouTubers, authors, podcasters, and other creatives, there isn't a better marketing hub to rely on to grow audiences, automate email marketing, and sell digital products — all within one platform. \n\nMore importantly, there isn't a team more committed to helping creators earn a living. We're on a mission to help creators earn $1 billion using our creator marketing platform. We have always been 100% independent and 100% remote.\n\nWe are proud to have built a product that our customers love, and we look for people who have enthusiasm and belief in our mission, vision, and values to join our team. We're also embracing AI thoughtfully — both in how we build and how we hire to ensure our team is adaptable, innovative, and ready for what's next.\n\n\n\n\nTHE ROLE\n\nWe’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our builders team, which owns the core publishing platform for creators - how they create email templates, landing pages, forms, newsletter sites, and more. You’ll help enable creators to make and send high-impact, visually appealing, on-brand, and delightful content at scale. This is the core of our business - every creator's journey with Kit starts with building something, and we want that experience to be fast, flexible, and delightful.\n\nYou'll own key product surfaces end-to-end - from identifying opportunities to shipping products that touch hundreds of thousands of Creators and more than a billion subscribers.\n\nThis is a full-time senior IC role ideal for someone who thrives on creating high quality products, aligning the company on a broader vision and strategy, measuring impact, and is excited to shape how Kit shows up in the world - literally, in every email, page, and form a creator publishes.\n\n \n\n\nYOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM\n\nYou'll report to Katie Swett Miller https://www.linkedin.com/in/katieswett/, our Chief Product Officer and collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Success, and Sales teams. You'll partner across functions to ensure alignment between product experiences and go-to-market efforts, while having access to a peer group of Product Managers across Kit for support and mentorship.\n\n \n\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\n\n - First Week: Dive into Kit's product ecosystem, the Builders surfaces (email editor, landing pages, forms, newsletter site), and current tooling for measuring content quality and creator output. Attend Get-To-Know-You (GTKY) meetings with cross-functional partners. Get access and learn key tools like Linear, Mixpanel, Omni, and our design/prototyping stack.\n\n - First Month: Build rituals. Dive into the products. Meet with a customer. Have shipped your first feature, partnering with engineering, design, and marketing closely.\n\n - First Six Months: Have an established POV on how we win in the industry. What success looks like for the team and the product space. And have engineers and the broader company understanding progress towards those goals.\n\n - First Year: Led major initiatives from conception through to successful launch. Impacted customers and the business.\n\n \n \n\n\nWHAT WILL S.E.T. We're rebuilding Kit Studios Chicago, and we need someone to be its heartbeat. This role is about building community, creating memorable creator experiences, and becoming a trusted face of Kit in the Chicago creator scene.

As a Kit Studios Manager, you'll manage the studio—greeting creators, running the space, and making sure every visit feels welcoming and professional. But the real work happens in the relationships you build: getting to know creators, understanding what they're working on, connecting them to Kit's tools and community, and identifying opportunities to pass along to our sales team.

This role is a great fit if you're a creator, excited about the creator economy, love making others feel seen and supported, and get excited about rolling up your sleeves to create content alongside creators in the studio. Ideally, you're already embedded in the Chicago creator economy yourself — a passive or part-time creator, or someone deeply connected to that community — so you already speak the language of the people you're bringing into the studio.

Your support system

You'll report to Haley Janicek, Head of Creator Community at Kit.

You'll work closely with Kit Studios team members in Boise and New York, Sales when you identify strong creator leads, and cross-functional partners in marketing, support, and operations. You'll have regular access to Haley and the team, but you'll also be trusted to build relationships and make decisions independently.

You sit at the mid-funnel: Marketing owns top-of-funnel acquisition, Sales closes the deal, and you're the connective tissue in between — responsible for surfacing and tracking qualified leads from studio visits and handing them off cleanly to sales.

What you'll do

First Week: Meet Haley, the Kit Studios team, and key stakeholders across sales and marketing. Learn the booking system and day-of logistics, connect with other Kit Studios coordinators to understand what great creator experiences look like, and start connecting with the Chicago creator community. Get access to Customer.io and start learning how Kit Studios uses it to track regional utilization and reach Chicago-area customers. Start learning our internal systems and tools — Notion, Slack, Claude, Kit.com, etc. Get oriented on the studio's physical space — including day-to-day tidiness expectations and who to contact for building and vendor issues. Familiarize yourself with the studio equipment — Shure, ATEM, Rode, etc.

First Month: Manage the Chicago studio independently, including creator greetings, bookings, basic technical troubleshooting, studio organization, and vendor coordination. This also includes light studio upkeep, such as tidying common areas, taking out trash, and coordinating cleaning or maintenance as needed. Serve as Kit’s primary POC with building management and own management of the internal booking system, including direct communication with everyone who books. Build relationships with creators who visit by learning about their work, challenges, and goals. Identify creators who may benefit from Creator Pro or a deeper partnership and connect them with Sales. Drive studio awareness and utilization by sending Customer.io campaigns and encouraging customers to use the studio for training, recording, and events. Own the goal of reaching 120 bookable sessions per month by the end of 2026. Capture photo and video content at the studio and become comfortable appearing on camera to help market Kit Studios Chicago and Kit more broadly.

First Six Months: Be known as a go-to person in the Chicago creator community. Consistently deliver excellent in-studio experiences that result in strong NPS scores and testimonials. Build authentic relationships that lead to natural conversations about Kit's tools and value. Host or participate in creator events, meetups, or community-building activities in Chicago that align with our company goals. Identify and funnel qualified creator leads to the sales teams. Keep the Chicago studio running smoothly—managing bookings, supplies, equipment, and day-to-day logistics. Be on pace to hit our year-end target of 120 bookable sessions a month. Know the Kit customers with 10k+ subscribers within the Chicago radius — who they are, what they create, and how to bring them into the studio. Be fully established as the point person for studio vendors and building management — resolving facilities issues (HVAC, maintenance, etc.) and holding the building accountable to what it's responsible for under our lease. Support the continued build-out of the Chicago studio now that we've taken over the full space. Explore additional ways to drive utilization and revenue — for example, listing the space on Peerspace when it's not booked by creators.

First Year: Be the face of Kit Studios in Chicago and build a thriving creator community around the studio—people who come back, refer friends, and become advocates. Drive meaningful creator engagement that leads to testimonials, case studies, and organic growth. Shape how Kit shows up in the Chicago creator scene as we continue to grow. We're also embracing AI thoughtfully — both in how we build and how we hire to ensure our team is adaptable, innovative, and ready for what's next.\n\n\n\n\nTHE ROLE\n\nKit Studios is Kit's in-house creator studio space where creators can record high-quality podcasts and video content in a professional production environment, free for creators on our Creator and Creator Pro plans. We're rebuilding Kit Studios Chicago, and we need someone to be its heartbeat. This role is about building community, creating memorable creator experiences, and becoming a trusted face of Kit in the Chicago creator scene.\n\nAs a Kit Studios Manager, you'll manage the studio—greeting creators, running the space, and making sure every visit feels welcoming and professional. But the real work happens in the relationships you build: getting to know creators, understanding what they're working on, connecting them to Kit's tools and community, and identifying opportunities to pass along to our sales team.\n\nThis role is a great fit if you're a creator, excited about the creator economy, love making others feel seen and supported, and get excited about rolling up your sleeves to create content alongside creators in the studio. Ideally, you're already embedded in the Chicago creator economy yourself — a passive or part-time creator, or someone deeply connected to that community — so you already speak the language of the people you're bringing into the studio.\n\n \n\n\nYOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM\n\nYou'll report to Haley Janicek https://www.linkedin.com/in/haley-janicek/, Head of Creator Community at Kit.\n\nYou'll work closely with Kit Studios team members in Boise and New York, Sales when you identify strong creator leads, and cross-functional partners in marketing, support, and operations. You'll have regular access to Haley and the team, but you'll also be trusted to build relationships and make decisions independently.\n\nYou sit at the mid-funnel: Marketing owns top-of-funnel acquisition, Sales closes the deal, and you're the connective tissue in between — responsible for surfacing and tracking qualified leads from studio visits and handing them off cleanly to sales.\n\n \n\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\n\n - First Week: Meet Haley, the Kit Studios team, and key stakeholders across sales and marketing. Learn the booking system and day-of logistics, connect with other Kit Studios coordinators to understand what great creator experiences look like, and start connecting with the Chicago creator community. Get access to Customer.io http://Customer.io and start learning how Kit Studios uses it to track regional utilization and reach Chicago-area customers. Start learning our internal systems and tools — Notion, Slack, Claude, Kit.com http://Kit.com, etc. Get oriented on the studio's physical space — including day-to-day tidiness expectations and who to contact for building and vendor issues. Familiarize yourself with the studio equipment — Shure, ATEM, Rode, etc.\n\n - First Month: Manage the Chicago studio independently, including creator greetings, bookings, basic technical troubleshooting, studio organization, and vendor coordination. Identify creators who may benefit from Creator Pro https://kit.com/pricing or a deeper partnership and connect them with Sales. Drive studio awareness and utilization by sending Customer.io http://Customer.io campaigns and encouraging customers to use the studio for training, recording, and events. Own the goal of reaching 120 bookable sessions per month by the end of 2026. Capture photo and video content at the studio and become comfortable appearing on camera to help market Kit Studios Chicago and Kit more broadly.\n\n - First Six Months: Be known as a go-to person in the Chicago creator community. Explore additional ways to drive utilization and revenue — for example, listing the space on Peerspace when it's not booked by creators.\n\n - First Year: Be the face of Kit Studios in Chicago and build a thriving creator community around the studio—people who come back, refer friends, and become advocates. Drive meaningful creator engagement that leads to testimonials, case studies, and organic growth. Shape how Kit shows up in the Chicago creator scene as we continue to grow. Have a track record of curating studio events and content based on what you've learned about the Chicago creator audience. Be working toward 100% of Kit customers within the designated Chicago radius having experienced the studio for training, recording, or an event\n\n \n \n\n\nWHAT WILL S.E.T. YOU UP FOR SUCCESS\n\n \n\nSkills\n\n - Strong relationship-building and community development skills—you know how to make people feel genuinely welcome and valued\n\n - Natural conversational selling ability—you can spot opportunities and introduce ideas without being pushy\n\n - Excellent hospitality instincts—you create environments where people want to return\n\n - Comfortable with tools like Google Calendar, Slack, and booking platforms\n\n - Clear, warm communication in person and in writing\n\n - Good judgment about when someone's a fit for deeper Kit engagement and when to loop in the sales team\n\n - Hands-on experience operating studio recording equipment — Rode mics, Shure headphones, ATEM Mini switchers, teleprompters, and similar standard podcast/video gear. You should be able to run the room independently from day one, not ramp up into it.\n\n - Familiarity with Customer.io http://Customer.io (or comparable email/CRM tools) — comfortable building and sending campaigns to a defined customer list\n\n - Comfortable on camera and capturing content — you're a natural at creating and appearing in content that markets the studio\n\n - Comfortable liaising with vendors and building management to get facilities issues resolved\n\nExperiences\n\n - 2+ years in community building, hospitality, event coordination, customer-facing roles, or creator-facing work\n\n - Experience building relationships that lead to business opportunities (doesn't have to be formal sales)\n\n - Bonus: background in content creation, podcasting, or working with creators\n\n - Bonus: experience launching or managing a new space, program, or community from scratch\n\n - Bonus: deep ties to the Chicago creator community\n\n - Ideally embedded in the Chicago creator economy — a passive or part-time creator yourself, or someone with genuine standing in that community\n\nTraits\n\n - Genuinely excited about creators and the creator economy—you believe in what they're building\n\n - Warm, approachable, and energized by meeting new people\n\n - You listen well and remember details about people and their work\n\n - Comfortable working independently and building something new without a playbook\n\n - You take initiative and ownership—you don't wait to be told what to do\n\n - You care about the details that make experiences feel special\n\n - Comfortable spotting opportunities and having natural conversations about how Kit can help\n\n \n\n\nWHAT WON'T SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS\n\n - Preference for purely remote work—this role requires in-person presence in the Chicago studio\n\n - Discomfort with relationship-building or community-facing work\n\n - Preferring highly structured roles with established processes. This role requires comfort building systems and making decisions independently\n\n - Approaching creator relationships transactionally rather than authentically\n\n - Preferring behind-the-scenes work over face-to-face interaction\n\n - Discomfort being on camera or reluctance to create content\n\n \n\n\nWORKING HOURS AND LOCATION\n\nKit Studios Chicago is located downtown, on Goose Island. Comfortable using AI tools daily in your own workflow and evaluating where AI can meaningfully improve a product\n\n - Clear written and verbal communication\n\n - Bonus if you have Publishing or content creation expertise\n\nExperiences\n\n - 6-9+ years in product management with significant ownership of a core, revenue-driving product area.\n\n - Proven track record building high quality, scaled, software - ideally including creation tools, editors, or content/publishing surfaces.\n\n - Deep experience with content creation online\n\n - Partnered closely with design to drive long-term vision for a product area, including hands-on involvement in craft and visual polish\n\nTraits\n\n - High ownership and autonomy in ambiguous environments\n\n - Comfort balancing short-term wins with long-term vision\n\n - Systems thinker who builds foundations, not just features\n\n - Low ego, strong collaborator who influences without authority\n\n - Intellectually curious with a bias toward learning\n\n - Clear communicator who can articulate strategy, tradeoffs, results at multiple levels\n\n - Customer-focused while maintaining business discipline\n\n - Strong taste and attention to craft - cares about how things look and feel, not just whether they function\n\n \n\n\nWHAT WON'T SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS\n\n - Seeking highly structured environments with predetermined solutions\n\n - Preferring tactics over systems thinking\n\n - Needing extensive direction to identify opportunities\n\n - Discomfort with setting goals and measuring outcomes and work against them\n\n - Difficulty distinguishing signal from noise in ambiguous situations\n\n - Indifference to visual/craft quality or treating design as an afterthought\n\n \n\n\nWORKING HOURS AND LOCATION\n\nWe're 100% remote with team members across the globe, but this role requires consistent overlap with our Engineering, Product, and Design teams across Europe and the U.S. The team has fixed meetings from 10:45–11:45 a.m. Eastern on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. YOU UP FOR SUCCESS\n\n \n\nSkills\n\n - Data-informed decision making and quantitative analysis\n\n - Strong product judgment and prioritization\n\n - Systems thinking and building for scale\n\n - Deep collaboration with design on craft and visual quality\n\n - Cross-functional influence and collaboration\n\n - Strong AI fluency. We also ask team members to keep 12:00–2:00 p.m. Eastern generally available for recurring EPD meetings, planning sessions, our Team Call, and occasional project meetings. This window won't be filled with meetings every day, but we need the flexibility to schedule within it while both our European and West Coast teammates are online. Fridays are focus days, with no recurring meetings.\n\n \n\n\nCOMPENSATION + PERKS + BENEFITS\n\nKit has standardized salaries based on position, no matter where you live. We're also embracing AI thoughtfully — both in how we build and how we hire to ensure our team is adaptable, innovative, and ready for what's next.\n\n\n\n\nTHE ROLE\n\nThis role is perfect for someone who thinks two steps ahead. You catch problems before they become crises, and are always looking for how to make things easier for others. We need someone who can read an email, understand the business context and urgency, and know exactly what to do with it—whether that's drafting a thoughtful response, flagging it for the CEO's attention, or routing it to the right team member. For that reason, this role requires strong business acumen and writing skills to represent the CEO's voice clearly and professionally. You'll manage the inbox daily, coordinate the calendar, book travel, support with special projects, and prepare the CEO for every meeting and event with clear, comprehensive briefing notes. You'll also build systems and document workflows so this work becomes repeatable and increasingly efficient over time.\n\nThis is a part-time (approximately 20 hours/week), independent contractor engagement with defined deliverables and milestones, with a preference for candidates based in the Boise area. Your primary point of contact is Chelsea Hahn, the Head of Operations for the Office of the CEO.\n\n \n\n\nYOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM\n\nChelsea Hahn https://www.linkedin.com/in/chelseahahn/ (Head of Operations for the CEO) is your point of contact for questions, priorities, and feedback. You'll interact with many other external partners, and other Kit team members as needed to move specific projects forward. Otherwise, you work independently most of the time, checking in with Chelsea to confirm deliverables and surface roadblocks.\n\n \n\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\n\n\nFIRST WEEK\n\n - Get access to the CEO's calendar, email, and key tools\n\n - Join onboarding conversations with Chelsea to align on the CEO's top priorities, communication style, and decision-making preferences.\n\n - Dive into the inbox: read through recent and pending emails to understand what's there, what's urgent, and what the CEO typically responds to versus what gets routed or archived.\n\n - Begin daily email triage: sort new incoming mail, draft responses on behalf of the CEO for Chelsea's review, and flag anything that needs the CEO's direct attention.\n\n - Learn the calendar system: review current and upcoming schedule, understand meeting principles, and identify conflicts or optimization opportunities.\n\n - Retrieve mail from the PO box and handle accordingly.\n\nFirst Month\n\n - Deliver full ownership of daily email triage and response drafting, including a documented framework for which emails contain implicit to-dos, which systems you operate independently, and what always needs Chelsea's sign-off.\n\n - Deliver a calendar-management approach, managed in partnership with Chelsea, including accepting/declining meeting requests and proactively flagging scheduling conflicts.\n\n - Deliver a reliable meeting prep process.\n\n - Book a trip end-to-end: flights, ground transportation, lodging, meal reservations. Deliver a briefing document with meeting details, attendee bios, and prep materials at least 48 hours before departure.\n\n - Start identifying and implementing improvements to current processes.\n\nFirst Six Months\n\n - Proactively take action on emails and situations where you've learned what's needed. Coordinate logistics, follow up on outstanding requests, and solve operational problems before they escalate. Bring edge cases to Chelsea, but operate with strong judgment and autonomy.\n\n - Introduce at least one AI-powered automation (e.g., email filtering, calendar insights, travel research). Test it, document it, iterate.\n\n - Document at least three workflows in Notion (e.g., how to request a meeting with the CEO, how to process expenses, how calendar blocking should work).\n\n - Take on event coordination for Nathan Barry Show batch recording events: coordinate guest dinner reservations, order lunch for recording days, send introduction emails to guests 2 weeks in advance and find new ways to make the event a special experience for guests.\n\n\n\n\nWHAT WILL S.E.T.
