As a Senior/Staff Product Manager at Pano AI, you will own and scale a critical component of our wildfire intelligence platform. Our technology enables emergency managers, utilities, and first responders to detect and respond to wildfires in near real time as climate risk and the Wildland Urban Interface continue to expand. You will take full ownership of a key product domain such as detection workflows, alerting systems, geospatial visualization layers, or emerging product lines. This is not a feature execution role. The Role
Pano AI is looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Product Manager to own the definition and execution of new hardware products, from concept through production and field deployment. Our proprietary 360-degree, ultra-high-definition cameras operate at high vantage points across millions of acres in demanding outdoor conditions, and advancing that hardware is central to our mission and our growth.
Embedded with our hardware engineering team, you'll serve as the product voice across each development cycle—owning requirements, managing tradeoffs, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring every product ships to spec, on time, and ready for field deployment. What you’ll do

What you’ll bring
Required
8+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years focused on hardware products—cameras, sensors, IoT devices, embedded systems, or ruggedized field-deployed devices
A track record of taking multiple hardware products from concept or early development through mass production, including experience with EVT/DVT/PVT build cycles and manufacturing ramp
Strong technical fluency in hardware development—comfortable reviewing schematics, engaging with electrical and mechanical engineers, reading firmware requirements, and interpreting test data
Experience owning PRDs and hardware specifications in a cross-functional environment, including managing requirements changes and version control across design iterations

As a Senior AI/Computer Vision Engineer, you will lead the design, development, optimization, and deployment of AI models and inference pipelines across cloud and edge platforms. You will advance our wildfire detection capabilities while developing vision algorithms for complex outdoor-scene understanding, including vegetation and asset detection, object localization, and spatial reasoning—for example, estimating distances between detected objects and critical infrastructure. What you’ll do
Design and implement cloud/edge AI architectures for real-time computer vision applications.
Develop computer vision models for:
Wildfire smoke detection
Vegetation detection and classification
Asset detection (e.g., power lines, utility poles, buildings, roads)
Scene understanding and semantic segmentation
Spatial reasoning, including estimating distances and relationships between detected objects and nearby assets
Develop speech recognition models for fire-related radio communications
Build lightweight detection, segmentation, classification, and temporal reasoning models for real-time inference.
Port and optimize deep learning models for ARM64, CUDA, TensorRT, ONNX, and NVIDIA Jetson platforms.
Build and optimize both cloud and edge inference pipelines for RGB, NIR, PTZ, and multi-camera systems.
Develop hybrid edge-cloud AI workflows that balance latency, bandwidth, and compute efficiency.
Improve inference latency, throughput, memory usage, and power efficiency.
Lead model compression efforts, including quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation.
Design deployment, monitoring, OTA update, and observability capabilities for edge AI systems.
Collaborate closely with AI researchers, software engineers, hardware engineers, data engineers, and product teams.
Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for edge AI and computer vision development.
What you’ll bring
Required
MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
5+ years of industry experience in computer vision or machine learning.
Strong experience with PyTorch and modern deep learning architectures.
Experience deploying AI models to edge devices such as NVIDIA Jetson, embedded GPUs, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of CUDA, TensorRT, ONNX, model optimization, and inference acceleration.
Experience with one or more of the following:
Object detection

We are looking for a motivated Computer Vision Engineer to help build the next generation of cloud/edge-based vision systems for wildfire detection and environmental monitoring.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced AI researchers and engineers to develop, evaluate, optimize, and deploy computer vision models on both cloud and edge devices. You will gain hands-on experience across modern computer vision, edge AI, embedded systems, and real-world AI deployment.
Beyond wildfire detection, you will contribute to a variety of AI/computer vision projects, including vegetation detection, asset recognition, instance segmentation, scene understanding, spatial reasoning, and speech recognition. We value curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies and tackle diverse technical challenges as our products evolve.

What you’ll bring
Required

Pano AI is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to keep goods and materials moving for our Plant Operations team as our warehouse network grows quickly. This is a hands-on warehouse role first: you will spend a significant part of your week on the floor receiving shipments, picking and packing orders, staging and kitting equipment, and getting product out the door accurately and on time. There is a real systems and analysis side to the job — you will build the tracking, records, and processes this function runs on — but it sits on top of the physical work, not instead of it.
The mix shifts week to week. During a site launch or a heavy inbound week, you may be on the floor most of the time. In quieter stretches, you will be tightening up records, improving storage layout, chasing down carrier issues, and building the systems that make the next busy week smoother. We are looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable with both, and who does not consider either one beneath them or beyond them.
As Pano scales its warehouse network and brings on additional sites and partners, the volume and complexity of this work is growing fast. This role gives Plant Operations the dedicated capacity it needs to keep receiving and shipping accurate, transportation and storage running efficiently, and every product arriving at the right destination on schedule.
Fair warning on one point: our systems and processes here are still being built. There is no mature WMS to inherit. Much of the tracking lives in spreadsheets and carrier portals today, and part of your job will be turning that into something durable. If you want a well-oiled machine to run, this is not it. The Role
Pano AI seeks a Community Engagement Associate (Texas) to own the relationships, including outreach and onboarding, with community end-users such as fire authorities and disaster management agencies. In this role, you will be high touch in communication and support with our direct and indirect customers both pre- and post-deployment. We are looking for an excellent communicator with a high energy and process-driven mindset who can provide a superior customer experience. This is an ideal job for someone with a background in the disaster management community (current or ex-fire fighter, emergency manager etc), who is passionate about the environment and wants to get into the business of climate resiliency. This role is primarily geared towards end-users in Texas, so ideally you will be residing in the area.
Following years of increasingly catastrophic climate disasters, we’re now in the midst of one of the greatest paradigm changes in the past century with the entire disaster preparedness space being re-imagined and restructured. This critical role within Pano’s community engagement team (part of the Customer Success organization) will help empower and accelerate this change. You will help build and manage Pano’s “ground game” via installing a network of engaged end-users who respond to alerts from Pano stations.
What You'll Do
Drive Agency Adoption & Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with fire departments, emergency management offices, dispatch centers, and other first responder agencies within Pano deployment areas, ensuring they understand the value of Pano and actively use the platform.
Own Outreach, Onboarding & Training: Identify the right agencies and decision-makers within each camera coverage area, establish relationships, and lead onboarding and training that enables end-users to confidently integrate Pano alerts into their operational workflows.
Turn Alerts Into Action: Drive meaningful platform engagement beyond initial onboarding - regularly connect with agencies, understand how they are using Pano, remove barriers to adoption, and help ensure alerts are reviewed and operationalized.
Be the Voice of the Fire Community: Develop a deep understanding of agency priorities, workflows, and challenges, translating feedback and field insights back to Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Operations to improve the customer and end-user experience.
Represent Pano in the Field: Serve as a trusted representative of Pano within the fire community through agency meetings, industry events, workshops, presentations, and deployment activities, building credibility and strengthening Pano’s relationships across the region.
What You'll Bring (Must Have)
This is a remote position requiring candidates to reside within the state of Texas.
BS / BA degree or equivalent work experience with 2+ years of experience in Wildfire, Forestry, and Disaster Management roles; strong preference for Federal wildland fire or state fire agency experience.
2+ years of professional experience in training and development, sales/marketing, customer success/support, operations, or project management.
Ability to travel up to approximately 20% of the time.

Pano AI is seeking a mission-driven and strategic Enterprise Account Executive, Public Sector to accelerate the adoption of our wildfire detection and situational awareness technology across state and local government agencies in the West Coast. The Role
Pano AI seeks an Associate - Community Outreach and Incident Analysis to review and curate smoke incident alerts issued by Pano Intelligence Center for relevance to Pano’s utility customers. You will also manage the relationships, including outreach and onboarding, with community end-users such as fire authorities and disaster management agencies. In this role, you will be high touch in communication and support with our direct and indirect customers both pre- and post-deployment.
We are looking for an excellent communicator with a high energy and process driven mindset. who is able to provide a superior customer experience. This is an ideal job for someone with prior Wildland Fire Dispatcher experience or with a background in the broader disaster management community (current or ex-fire fighter, emergency manager etc), who is passionate about public safety and wants to get in the business of climate resiliency.
Following years of increasingly catastrophic climate disasters, we’re now in the midst of one of the greatest paradigm changes in the past century with the entire disaster preparedness space being re-imagined and restructured. This critical role within Pano’s customer success and community outreach team will help empower and accelerate this change. You will help support utility customers’ incident situational awareness and manage Pano’s “ground game” via installing a network of engaged end-users who respond to alerts from Pano stations.
What You'll Do

The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance. We're hiring a seasoned Senior Product Researcher to bring rigorous customer evidence into the decisions that shape Pano's product portfolio and how we take it to market.
This role sits at the intersection of product research, product strategy, and market investigation. You'll work across multiple active areas at once — wildfire intelligence platform, new product expansions across both software and hardware development, key priority partnerships, and go-to-market assessment — partnering with PMs, engineering, design, GTM, customer success and commercial teams. Our customers are utilities, federal and state agencies, and emergency managers operating in high-consequence conditions, which means the research is close to the field: command centers, control rooms, active deployments, and executive briefings.
This is not a role limited to running studies. You'll help Pano decide which opportunities are worth pursuing, size and scope the investment, and build research practices the rest of the organization can use. You'll be trusted to take an ambiguous strategic question, choose the right approach, and come back with something leadership can act on.
Own research end-to-end across several concurrent product areas — scoping the question, recruiting participants, running sessions with customers and internal experts, and synthesizing findings into pain point taxonomies, stakeholder maps, personas, and clear recommendations.
Partner with PMs, design, and engineering leads to evaluate future product opportunities: frame the questions that de-risk an investment, and generate the evidence needed to size and scope it before roadmap capacity is committed.
Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence — landscape scans, competitor and adjacent-product audits, new-market assessments — to inform positioning and entry decisions in emerging segments and geographies.
Contribute customer and market evidence to pricing, packaging, and adoption strategy in partnership with Product, Sales, and Product Marketing, including buyer versus user dynamics, procurement realities, and value perception.
Run field and co-design research with customers on site, translating operational observation into design and product implications.
Build research capability across the organization: reusable guides and templates, a searchable repository of findings, a participant panel, and hands-on coaching for PMs and designers running their own customer conversations.
Produce concise, well-structured readouts and briefs that inform executive decisions, and present them directly to internal and customer audiences.
8+ years in product research, UX research, market research, or product strategy, with a track record of work that visibly changed a roadmap, an investment decision, or a go-to-market plan.
Mixed-methods depth: strong qualitative interviewing and synthesis, plus comfort with survey design, segmentation, opportunity sizing, and pricing research methods.
Proven ability to run multiple workstreams independently with minimal direction — choosing the right method for the decision at hand and delivering on compressed timelines without sacrificing rigor.
Experience researching complex B2B or enterprise domains with operational end users and multi-stakeholder buying committees.
Excellent synthesis and storytelling: turns messy fieldwork into a crisp, structured argument that senior leaders and customers can follow and act on.
Strong presence with customers, from frontline operators to executive sponsors, and the judgment to manage sensitive account dynamics well.
Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience is a must, and personal qualities of curiosity, pro-activeness, and open-mindedness.
Domain experience in wildfire, utilities, energy, public safety, or emergency management, or another high-risk, compliance-driven environment.
Experience at a Series B–D company, including helping establish research practices where little structure existed.
Familiarity with AI/ML products, imagery or sensor data, or combined hardware and software offerings.

Final compensation for regular full-time employees is determined by a variety of factors, including job-related qualifications, education, experience, skills, knowledge, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, regular full-time roles are eligible for equity.
