About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to own the UI platform every Redpanda product is built on, and to lead its migration to product-based microfrontends.
Redpanda Cloud is the front door to everything a customer touches: Redpanda Streaming, Connect, SQL and the Agentic Data Plane. It already composes several of those surfaces at runtime through Module Federation, and that will grow as products move to their own teams and their own release cadences behind one experience. You'll own the architecture of that shared layer - the host shell and remote contracts, the build and release pipeline, the testing and observability story, and the frontend standards that stop every team solving the same problem a different way.
We already have strong contributors across our product surfaces and design system, and you'll be setting the structure they build inside.
The migration is the biggest piece of work, but it isn't the whole job. You'll decide how Redpanda's UI is composed for the next several years - what a product surface owns, what the platform owns, and what the contract between them looks like. That shapes how every frontend engineer here works.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You'll lead through architecture and the standards you set, not through direct reports.
You'll be based in our growing Warsaw office, alongside the team that owns our commerce path including sign-up, usage-based billing, payments and cloud-marketplace integrations, and you'll set direction on the shared customer-facing surfaces for frontend engineers across both EMEA and the Americas.

You Will:

Set the architecture and migration path for splitting product surfaces into independently deployable microfrontends, and drive alignment and delivery with the teams who own those products across EMEA and US time zones
Define the graceful degradation and fallback patterns that keep Cloud usable when a remote is missing, stale or incompatible
Raise release confidence with uniform end-to-end and certification tests across environments
Set and uphold frontend standards through RFCs, design review and code review, and make them easy to adopt
Contribute to and evolve the design system and component library, keeping components composable across independently deployed surfaces
Represent frontend in cross-team architecture discussions, so API and information architecture decisions land well in the UI
Participate in the on-call escalation chain, helping reduce escalations and improve operational health
Raise the engineering bar and mentor engineers across the UX and product teams
You Have:
Significant experience building and operating production-grade customer-facing web applications at scale with React and TypeScript, including ownership of a shared platform, framework or design system that other engineers depend on
Production experience with microfrontend architecture and Module Federation, or an equivalent such as single-spa or native federation, including version skew between host and remotes, shared dependency management, runtime failure modes and independent deployment
A track record of leading large technical projects end-to-end, from design and planning, to execution and production operations
A track record of setting architectural guidelines and driving adoption across multiple teams
Depth in modern frontend fundamentals: component architecture, state management, data fetching, build and runtime performance, and accessibility
Experience with AI-assisted software development workflows including tools like Claude Code
Fluency with frontend testing, unit through end-to-end, and clear opinions on what belongs in CI, what belongs in pre-production and what belongs in production monitoring
A strong design sensibility. You care how the product looks, feels and behaves, and you can hold a quality bar without a designer in the room
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; comfortable working in a globally distributed, async environment (e.g., GitHub)

Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) is the delivery arm. We embed engineers directly with strategic customers and build the agents and integrations that turn ADP into owned outcomes. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you are the builder: embedded on-site, working inside the customer’s environment, writing the code that ships.
This is not a solutions engineering role. You are not here to demo or advise. You are here to build — agents, integrations, data pipelines, and the infrastructure that runs them — alongside a customer team, in their environment, on their timeline.
You Will:
Build at the customer site. Write production-quality agents, integrations, and data pipelines on Redpanda ADP, inside the customer’s environment and codebase. What you ship has to work after you leave.
Work in unfamiliar territory, fast. Every customer engagement is a new codebase, a new data environment, a new set of constraints. Ramp quickly, orient to what exists, build on top of it without breaking it.
Own the technical deliverable. Understand what the engagement is supposed to produce, design the technical approach, build it, and hand it off clean — documented, maintainable, and running in production.
Be the Redpanda technical voice with the customer’s engineers. Work alongside their team daily. Earn their trust. Make sure the work integrates correctly with what they already have and what they’ll maintain after you leave.
Drive toward exit from day one. Build with handoff in mind. Write documentation that their team can actually use. Train them on what you built. Don’t create dependencies on you.
Feed learnings back. Identify patterns across engagements — what customers keep needing to build, where ADP makes things hard, what should be productized. Bring that back to Product and Engineering clearly.
You Have:
Overall Experience. You have 6-10+ years of professional experience in a combination of software engineering and customer facing technical roles.
Engineering depth. You write production software. You’ve built backend systems, data pipelines, APIs, or agent systems that ran in production and had real consequences when they broke. Language background is flexible; what matters is that you build things that work.
Agent and integration experience. You’ve built agents, worked with LLM APIs, or built integrations between complex systems. You know what makes an agent reliable vs. brittle, and you’ve made that call in production.
Ability to operate in any environment. You’ve worked in someone else’s codebase, with constraints you didn’t set, in a stack you didn’t choose. You can read unfamiliar code, understand what it does, and extend it without breaking it.

We are looking for an accomplished and forward-thinking Senior Engineering Manager to lead one of our Cloud engineering teams. Reporting to the Director of Cloud Engineering, you will own the day-to-day delivery, quality, and operational excellence for a team of 7-10 engineers building core services in Redpanda Cloud's Agentic Data Plane, the platform that connects AI agents with enterprise data and systems in real time.Your team sits within a globally distributed Redpanda engineering organization, with peers in the US and across EMEA. The team itself is a mix of Warsaw-based hybrid engineers and fully-remote engineers elsewhere in EMEA, so you'll be running async-first practices and building trust across timezones as a core part of the job. This is a hybrid role based in our central Warsaw office, with a minimum of 3 days/week on-site. We're looking for a Principal Software Engineer to help architect and build Redpanda's Agentic Data Plane (ADP), the control and execution layer that powers how AI agents safely interact with real-world data across the technological sprawl of the modern enterprise. About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced staff-level engineer to set the technical direction for a new Warsaw-based team that owns Redpanda Cloud's customer-facing journeys, including sign-up and authentication, account management, usage-based billing, payments, and cloud-marketplace integrations. You'll lead the architecture across these workstreams, take ownership of the systems that exist today, stabilize and deepen them, and then drive the product and technical roadmap that makes every customer interaction reliable, transparent, and trustworthy. You'll maintain a high bar for software in customer-facing systems, and partner across engineering, design, product, finance, and pre-/post-sales.

You'll join a newly-formed small, cross-functional Cloud team based in our new Warsaw office that owns the services powering the customer-facing journeys at the heart of Redpanda Cloud. The team is adopting ownership of these areas from the teams that built them, will come up to speed on what we have today, and then drive a product and technical roadmap that gives our customers confidence whenever they interact with our services. You Will:
Lead the technical direction across the sign-up, marketplace, billing, and payments journeys on AWS, GCP, and Azure

Enough frontend familiarity to own customer-facing UIs with design support (not a specialist)

About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced senior software engineer to drive Redpanda Cloud's billing and payments services and workflows end-to-end, as part of a new Warsaw-based team. You'll take ownership of usage-based billing via Metronome, and credit-card management via Stripe, coming up to speed with our current implementation, stabilising it, and then driving the roadmap to keep metering, invoicing, and payments accurate, transparent, and trustworthy as we expand our products and services with the Agentic Data Plane. You'll partner closely with finance, product, and the wider engineering team across the wider customer-experience journey.
This is a hybrid role based in our Warsaw office.
The Team
You'll join a newly-formed small, cross-functional Cloud team based in our new Warsaw office that owns the services powering the customer-facing journeys at the heart of Redpanda Cloud. This is how every customer registers, manages their account, and pays for what they use. The team owns these critical workstreams:
Register / Sign-up / Sign-in
Account management
Usage-based billing (UBB) via Metronome
Credit-card management for self-service customers via Stripe
Cloud marketplace integrations (AWS, GCP, and Azure with more to come) for UBB, public offers, and private offers
The team is adopting ownership of these areas from the teams that built them, will come up to speed on what we have today, and then drive a product and technical roadmap that gives our customers confidence whenever they interact with our services. It's cross-functional and works closely with design, product, and finance. We hire for the skill mix across the team, not every skill in every person.
Everybody at Redpanda is reinventing how they work using the latest AI tooling and workflows.
You Will:
Own the technical implementation of UBB (using Metronome) and payments (using Stripe) end-to-end, design, building, operating, and evolving the architecture and services
Build and operate correctness-critical metering, billing, and payment workflows with strong idempotency, reconciliation, and auditability
Adopt the existing metering, billing, and payments systems from other teams, learn them deeply, and drive them forward to meet future requirements
Turn product and commercial requirements into clear technical designs and shipped workstreams
Partner with finance and customer success teams on invoicing accuracy, reconciliation, and revenue correctness, and with product and engineering teams on the technical roadmap
Uphold high standards for security and privacy of PII

You Have:
Solid software engineering fundamentals and a track record of owning development of features and components and delivering them reliably
Experience developing, operating, and supporting large scale distributed systems
Working backend proficiency in Go (or a comparable systems language and are willing to ramp up) and a foundation in public cloud infrastructure (at least one of AWS/Azure/GCP)
Frontend familiarity - while not a specialist, you are comfortable maintaining and adapting customer-facing web UIs (React / TypeScript or similar) with support from UX designers and the latest AI tools

You Have:
7+ years in application or product security or adjacent specialties, with a track record of owning AppSec initiatives end-to-end and influencing engineering teams without direct authority.
The ability to review and reason about code in a systems language (C++ or Rust strongly preferred, since our core engine is C++; Go valuable across the cloud control plane and tooling), whether reviewing it directly or with AI assistance, with strong instincts for memory safety, concurrency, and the vulnerability classes that matter (use-after-free, buffer overflow, injection, authorization flaws).

You Have:
Overall Experience. You have 6-10+ years of professional experience in a combination of software engineering and customer facing technical roles.
Engineering depth. You write production software. You’ve built backend systems, data pipelines, APIs, or agent systems that ran in production and had real consequences when they broke. Language background is flexible; what matters is that you build things that work.
Agent and integration experience. You’ve built agents, worked with LLM APIs, or built integrations between complex systems. You know what makes an agent reliable vs. brittle, and you’ve made that call in production.
Ability to operate in any environment. You’ve worked in someone else’s codebase, with constraints you didn’t set, in a stack you didn’t choose. You can read unfamiliar code, understand what it does, and extend it without breaking it.
Customer-facing communication. You can work directly with a customer’s engineering team — their leads, their architects, their individual contributors — and be a credible, trusted technical partner. You don’t need a PM to translate for you.
