We are looking for a driven Customer Success Manager to join our dynamic and highly-experienced sales team at Socket. In this role, you'll be a key partner in our post sales efforts by building relationships with Security teams, establishing healthy feedback loops to help guide our product development and design solutions that ensure long term growth with our customers. We are looking for a driven Enterprise Account Executive to join our dynamic and highly-experienced sales team at Socket. Socket is looking for a Sales Engineer to support our enterprise customers. In this role you will be at the nexus between our customers and our engineering, product, and design teams. You'll work cross-functionally in order to provide technical education, guidance, and support in a pre-sales capacity.

About the Role
We're looking for a high-performing Python focused Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between Socket's enterprise customers and our engineering teams. About the Role
Socket is looking for a Sales Engineer to support our commercial customers. In this role you will be at the nexus between our customers and our engineering, product, and design teams. You'll work cross-functionally in order to provide technical education, guidance, and support in a pre-sales capacity.
What You'll Do
Lead discussions and product demonstrations to showcase capabilities; address customer challenges, respond to questions, and handle objections.
Craft technical content to guide customers in implementing specific use cases or extending our solution.

About the Role
We're seeking a Sales Engineer, EMEA to lead Socket's growth in Europe. This is a unique hybrid role combining pre-sales technical expertise with post-sale customer success ownership. Socket is looking for a Threat Researcher to join our growing Threat Intelligence Team. In this role, you’ll tackle cutting-edge threats in the software supply chain, leveraging our proprietary AI-based scanner and building tools to enhance malware analysis. What You'll Bring
Required:
3+ years of work experience and a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

A Letter From Our Founder & CEO: We've built something rare at Socket. A 40-person engineering team that moves with velocity and keeps a high bar on what ships. We don't have the usual dysfunction that plagues fast-growing companies. Now we're at an interesting inflection point. We need to double the engineering organization while keeping everything that made us fast. That's the core problem: how do you stay fast and maintain code quality and culture while you scale from 40 to 80+ engineers?
The best engineering organizations don't scale because they hire more of the right people. They scale because they've designed how decisions get made, how work gets prioritized, how teams coordinate without creating meetings overhead, how people get unblocked. The operating system is the difference between a team that grows and a team that fractures under its own weight.
Socket has a strong technical leadership team. What we're missing is someone who owns the operating system. Someone who looks at how we're currently shipping things and says \"this works for 40 people, but it won't work for 80, and here's what we need to change. Someone who understands that keeping engineers happy and keeping the product moving fast are the same problem, not competing problems.
This role is about protecting what we've built while scaling it. It's about designing planning processes and team structure and decision-making rhythms that are lightweight enough to stay fast and rigorous enough that dependencies surface before they become problems. It's about identifying the engineering leaders who can own their domains and then creating the conditions where they can do their best work.
You'll spend about two-thirds of your time on operations and people leadership. The other third stays hands-on technical. Not because we need more code reviewed, but because your technical credibility determines whether people actually trust your leadership on the hard calls.
You work directly with me. The decisions you make about how the team operates will shape Socket for the next three years. This is partnership, not delegation.

What You'll Do
Scale the engineering organization from 40 to 80+ people while protecting the velocity, code quality, and culture that makes Socket work. Own two intertwined responsibilities: be the operational leader who keeps the organization unblocked and coordinated, AND be the technical leader who shapes architecture decisions and keeps the team executing with urgency.
Design an operating system that actually works. Build planning cadence, sprint structure, and decision-making processes that are lightweight enough to stay fast and rigorous enough to catch risks early. Document how Socket makes decisions so new engineers understand the culture, not just the rules. The best operating systems don't feel like bureaucracy. They feel like clarity.
Build technical leadership across the organization. Create weekly coordination rhythms so teams sync proactively. Define clear growth paths so engineers know how to advance.
Eliminate operational friction. Identify the five biggest bottlenecks slowing the team down. By month six, those problems should be solved and measurable. This might be unclear prioritization, dependencies discovered mid-sprint, code review bottlenecks, unnecessary meetings, or context switching that kills focus.
Own delivery on major cross-team initiatives. Define what success looks like, track progress weekly, manage dependencies, escalate risks early.
Keep hands-on technical credibility. Spend about 35% of your time on real technical work: code review, architecture decisions, mentoring leads, unblocking hard problems. This is not negotiable. Your technical credibility determines whether the team respects your leadership. You need one foot in the code so you make better trade-off decisions.
Partner on technical strategy. Help articulate where Socket's architecture is heading. Create lightweight architecture review processes so major decisions are coordinated and informed, not siloed.
Establish culture and feedback loops that scale. Run skip-level 1-on-1s to understand what's actually blocking people. Institute monthly retrospectives so the team learns from each other's wins and failures. Build a feedback culture where code review is learning and where architecture reviews strengthen decisions instead of slowing them down.
What You'll Bring
You've scaled an engineering organization up to 100 people. You remember exactly what broke along the way and how you fixed it. You can articulate what \"good\" looks like at each scale and why the things that worked at 40 people stop working at 100.
You've built and executed operating systems for large organizations. You can walk through your planning process, how you manage dependencies, your sprint cycle, and how you surface risks. You build structure without creating bureaucracy.
Deep hands-on technical depth. You code regularly. You can have sophisticated conversations about architecture, distributed systems, and trade-offs. You can explain a major technical decision you made and whether you'd make it again. You're not afraid to challenge engineers on design.
You've managed complex cross-functional programs. You have concrete examples of coordinating 4+ teams on major initiatives. You surface dependencies upfront, handle conflicts thoughtfully, and keep complex programs on track.
A track record of moving fast and shipping. You can point to the biggest things you've shipped in the last year: how long they took, how many people, what the impact was. You optimize for speed without sacrificing quality.

About the Role
We’re hiring a Security Engineer to help define and scale our security program. This is an IC role with broad ownership across application security, infrastructure, corporate security, and detection engineering. You’ll work hands-on alongside the engineering team, writing code, building internal tooling, and driving meaningful security improvements as we grow.
Socket is a security company, and our internal security posture matters both for protecting the company and for the credibility of what we sell. This role is a rare combination: full ownership of a critical function, a company with real traction, and a deeply relevant problem space. As Socket grows, so will the security function, and you'll shape what that looks like.
What You'll Do
Improve Socket's security posture across the board. Own, cloud infrastructure hardening, operational security, and IT security. Write code and build tooling that makes the secure path the default path for engineers. Roll out identity and access controls, close gaps across the stack, and continuously reduce risk.
Assess, prioritize, and drive the security roadmap. Figure out what matters most, balance quick wins with longer-term improvements, and execute across many fronts in parallel. You won't wait to be told what to work on. You'll develop a clear picture of where Socket's risks are and make steady progress against them.
Run incident response and external security operations. Build and run a 24/7 security incident response process. Own the security inbox, triage inbound vulnerability reports, manage pentests, and coordinate fixes. When you can fix something directly, you do.
Maintain compliance and drive new certifications. Maintain our existing SOC 2 compliance. Drive new certifications (ISO 27001, etc.) as needed for enterprise customers.
Raise security awareness and culture across the org. Train engineers to write more secure code. Run phishing simulations. Build trust with engineering teams so that security feels like an enabler, not a blocker. Make people want to do the right thing rather than resenting security as a tax.
What You'll Bring
You've owned security broadly at a growth-stage company, or you're a strong software engineer who's moved into security and is ready to own the function end-to-end.
You can ship production TypeScript. When the engineering org is heads-down on product work, you unblock yourself by writing code, standing up tooling, and modifying infrastructure rather than filing tickets and waiting.
You have breadth across security domains (AppSec, CloudSec, OpSec) and you're comfortable learning fast where gaps exist.
You're fluent in cloud infrastructure (we use GCP): VPCs, IAM, secret management, networking.
You're a self-directed operator who figures out what matters most and executes across many fronts without waiting to be told what to do. You move fast, find leverage, and get a lot done with a little.

About the Role
As Socket's first dedicated Channel & Partnerships hire, you'll build our partner ecosystem from the ground up and establish strategic relationships that amplify our reach in the CISO and AppSec space. 6+ years of experience in Channel Sales, Partnership Management, or Business Development, with strong preference for security, AppSec, or enterprise software backgrounds selling into CISO and security organizations.
Deep knowledge of enterprise security ecosystems, including understanding how security consultancies, managed services providers, and system integrators serve enterprise clients and position security solutions.
Strong security domain knowledge; ability to engage confidently with security executives and technical teams about supply chain risks, vulnerability management, and enterprise security strategies.
Proven track record in relationship development with experience navigating complex security organizations and driving cross-functional alignment in consulting and enterprise settings.

Socket is looking for a Sales Engineer to support our SMB Clients. In this role you will be at the nexus between our customers and our engineering, product, and design teams. You'll work cross-functionally in order to provide technical education, guidance, and support in a pre-sales capacity.

We’re looking for a hands-on Manager of Commercial Sales to lead a growing team of Account Executives.
This is a role where you’ll be close to the business every day. You’ll be in deals, in pipeline reviews, and in 1:1s with reps making sure everyone is set up to perform. The goal is simple: a team that consistently hits number with clean pipeline and clear execution.
We’re a high-performing group today, and your job is to help take that to the next level by improving consistency, tightening execution, and making sure we always have a clear read on the business.
You’ll coach reps directly, stay close to how deals are progressing, and help remove friction where things slow down. You’ll also partner closely with Marketing, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Ops to make sure the team is supported and aligned.
Lead and coach a team of 7-8 Account Executives
Own team performance, including quota attainment and forecast accuracy
Run a tight weekly rhythm across pipeline reviews, forecasting, and deal inspection
Make sure reps are consistently building pipeline and staying disciplined on outbound
Stay close to deals and help reps improve execution from first conversation to close
Work with Marketing, SEs, and CS to make sure pipeline generation and conversion are strong
Help shape target account focus based on what is actually converting, not just what looks good on paper
Use HubSpot, Gong, and Outreach to keep real visibility into pipeline and rep activity

About the Role
You'll own customer success post-sale for our European Customers. That means understanding how each customer wants to use Socket, helping them get there, and solving problems when things break.
This is a product-focused, technical role. You'll spend your time learning customer environments, asking the right questions to uncover blockers, and translating product capabilities into solutions. We’re hiring for our very first Tech Partnerships role at Socket! Your mission is to build Socket’s technology partner ecosystem from zero to a repeatable, revenue-producing program. Over the next 12–18 months, you’ll establish deep technical integrations and partnerships that expand Socket’s reach in the enterprise AppSec and supply chain security ecosystem.
What you'll do:
Build Socket’s Technical Partnership & Integration Ecosystem: Identify, prioritize, and manage partnerships with developer and infrastructure platforms.. Ensure integrations create meaningful value for shared users and strengthen Socket’s position in the software supply chain.
Own Technical Partnership Lifecycle: Drive all stages of the technical partnership process from discovery and scoping to integration design, joint testing, documentation, and go-to-market enablement. Work closely with Socket’s product and engineering teams to translate partner opportunities into shipped product integrations.
Launch and Maintain Technical Integrations: Define the integration roadmap and work with internal and external engineers to ensure partner integrations are reliable, secure, and developer-friendly. Establish metrics for adoption, performance, and partner-driven usage growth.
Collaborate with Product and GTM Teams: Align partnership priorities with Socket’s product roadmap and revenue strategy. Enable the sales and marketing teams with technical knowledge, documentation, and partner assets that make integrations easy to adopt and position.
Develop Strategic Technology Alliances: Forge long-term relationships with technical and product leaders across the ecosystem. Identify opportunities for co-development, API collaboration, and shared innovation around developer experience and security automation.
Measure and Report Partnership Impact: Track integration adoption, developer engagement, and pipeline influence. Use these insights to inform prioritization, optimize technical outcomes, and guide future partnership investments.
About You:
10+ years in Technical Partnerships, Product Partnerships, or Technical Business Development in developer tools, security, or infrastructure software.
Strong understanding of modern development environments & ecosystems, CI/CD systems, and API-based integrations.
Proven track record of driving product partnerships that resulted in real integrations, adoption growth, or joint go-to-market success.
Capable of reading and communicating technical concepts (APIs, SDKs, webhooks, CI/CD flows) while collaborating with engineering teams.
Ability to rapidly prototype technical integrations, use-cases, and translate to product specs
Experience structuring and negotiating partnership agreements that balance technical scope with business outcomes.
Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging product, engineering, and executive audiences across organizations.
Strategic operator who can think in systems but execute tactically to bring integrations live.

In this role, you'll help build and scale Socket's EMEA business by owning the full sales cycle across mid-market and enterprise accounts. You'll partner closely with security, engineering, and executive stakeholders while helping shape our regional go-to-market strategy, sales process, and customer expansion efforts.

Build and manage a healthy pipeline through a combination of inbound demand, outbound prospecting, partner relationships, and customer referrals.

Create an unparalleled customer experience throughout the sales life cycle.
Partner with Customer Success to drive customer expansion, strategic account growth, and long-term customer success.
Partner with the EMEA leadership to establish repeatable processes, local market strategy, and best practices as we scale the region.
Provide market feedback to Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams to influence roadmap and go-to-market decisions.
What You'll Bring
5+ years of experience selling B2B SaaS solutions.
Experience selling to security leaders, engineering leaders, platform teams, or developer-focused organizations.
Curiosity about software development, open source, cloud infrastructure, and modern security practices.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Demonstrated success building pipeline in new or developing territories through a combination of outbound prospecting, partner engagement, and relationship-driven selling.
Experience operating in an early-stage or high-growth environment where processes, messaging, and strategy are still evolving.
Experience navigating a variety of deal sizes and sales motions, from transactional commercial opportunities to complex enterprise procurement processes.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to build meaningful relationships throughout the sales process.
Strong written and verbal communication and experience communicating at every level including the C-Suite.

About the Role
We're seeking a Sales Engineer to lead Socket's growth in Asia-Pacific . This is a unique hybrid role combining pre-sales technical expertise with post-sale customer success ownership. You'll be the bridge between prospects evaluating Socket and existing customers expanding their usage, driving both deal closure and long-term customer outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Pre-Sales & Demos:
Lead technical discussions and product demonstrations tailored to prospect needs
Design and execute proofs of concept (POCs) that enable prospects to evaluate Socket effectively
Address technical objections, troubleshoot issues, and build customer confidence
Translate Socket's capabilities into business value for security and engineering teams
Post-Sales & Growth:
Own the success and growth of assigned Asia-Pacific enterprise accounts
Create and execute success plans aligned to customer goals with clear KPIs
Drive feature adoption and expansion opportunities across the customer base
Conduct quarterly business reviews and renewal discussions
Escalate customer feedback to product and engineering teams
Cross-Functional Partnership:
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and CS teams to understand customer needs
Contribute to scalable processes and playbooks for Asia Pacific enterprise accounts
Provide strategic feedback on market needs and feature requests
Participate in on-call duties to cover urgent tickets for regional holidays, Socket company holidays, and a global rotation for weekend support.
Support the creation of technical documentation and integration guides
What You'll Bring
5+ years in pre-sales technical roles (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, TAM) with enterprise customers
2+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or post-sale technical roles
Prior experience in security, developer tools, or SaaS environments
Hands-on technical background: prior software engineering, data science, or equivalent role
Deep familiarity with package managers (at least one of npm or PyPI) and programming ecosystems (at least one of JavaScript or Python)
Understanding of software supply chain security and vulnerability management concepts
Ability to read/write basic scripts in Python, JS, or Go
Knowledge of source control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
RESTful API and integration experience
Must be located in Asia Pacific
Ability to work 8am - 5pm local time Monday through Friday; plus availability for rotational on-call support for weekend/holiday rotation.

About the Role
You'll own customer success post-sale for our Asia Pacific Customers. That means understanding how each customer wants to use Socket, helping them get there, and solving problems when things break.
This is a product-focused, technical role. You'll spend your time learning customer environments, asking the right questions to uncover blockers, and translating product capabilities into solutions. You're also the front line for technical support. We don't have a separate support team. When something doesn't work as expected, you investigate.
AEs own renewals and expansion. You own making the customer successful with the product.
What You'll Do
Account Management
Own post sales relationship as the main point of contact and technical advisor
Strategize with AEs on upsells, renewals and expansions
Relationship building and executive alignment with our Champions
Conducting Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic customers
Build measurable customer success plans
Onboarding & Implementation
Lead technical onboarding for new enterprise customers, from initial setup through full integration
Work with engineering teams to configure Socket across CI/CD systems, build pipelines, IDEs, and internal tooling
Build repeatable onboarding playbooks, scripts, and automations that reduce time-to-value
Technical Troubleshooting
Investigate and resolve integration, configuration, and compatibility issues
Respond to customer issues in dedicated Slack channels
Use logs and telemetry to identify root causes and document fixes
Escalate to Engineering when needed and follow through to resolution
Product Enablement
Run discovery conversations to understand customer goals and use cases
Translate complex product capabilities into practical, developer-friendly guidance
Conduct architecture reviews and security posture assessments
Deliver workshops, office hours, and deep-dives that drive adoption
Customer Advocacy
Bring technical feedback and field intelligence back to Product and Engineering
Surface patterns that inform roadmap priorities
Contribute documentation and internal tooling to scale the Technical Success practice
What You'll Bring
6+ years in a technical customer-facing role (Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Support Engineer, or similar)
2+ years of experience being the dedicated point of contact for customers with an emphasis on quarterly health checks and success
Background in application security, DevSecOps, or open-source ecosystems
Experience with developer tooling and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
Ability to read and reason about code (JavaScript, Python, TypeScript)
Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and SaaS integration patterns
Hands-on experience with Package Managers
Comfort troubleshooting in production environments alongside engineering teams
Clear written and verbal communication with developers, security practitioners, and executives
Willingness to travel for customer and company meetings as needed
