About the Job
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will help prospects and customers get into Squint, build valuable use cases, and turn early success into broader adoption. You will work alongside customers to understand their business, learn how their teams operate, and identify where Squint can make a measurable difference. From live demos and on-site engagements to building and testing solutions in the product, you will help customers move quickly from initial interest to active usage. You will bring what you learn back to the team to shape the product and improve how we land and grow customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Account Executives on enterprise opportunities to define solution strategy and deal approach.
Lead in-depth discovery to map business processes, identify strategic pain points, and quantify potential impact.
Design, scope, and deliver compelling use cases directly in our AI platform for prospects and customers.
Address complex technical objections, ensuring seamless integrations with existing systems and manufacturing workflows.
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, from plant managers to C-suite executives, to drive consensus and decision-making.
Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in AI- and AR-driven manufacturing solutions.
Prioritize our customers’ success above all else.
Qualifications
Experience: 6+ years in a Sales Engineering or equivalent role, ideally in manufacturing, AI, AR, or industrial solutions, with a proven track record in enterprise-level deals.
Hands-on Builder: Eager to dive into the product and work alongside customers to build, test, and refine use cases that solve real operational challenges and deliver measurable value.
Technical Proficiency: Proven experience designing, scoping, and delivering ERP/MES-integrated AI-driven manufacturing solutions.
Analytical Skills: Deep understanding and experience assessing customer value chains, analyzing data, and tailoring solutions to address mission-critical challenges.
Communication Skills: Skilled in creating executive-ready technical proposals, presentations, and ROI analyses for high-value contracts.
Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, inventing solutions on-the-fly and navigating ambiguity.

We're hiring an IT & Security Ops Manager to own the systems, tools, and infrastructure that keep every Squinter productive — and secure.
Sitting within our Finance & Operations team, you'll be the person who makes sure new hires get set up on day one, our tools and vendors are managed well, and our basic security hygiene is solid — all without slowing anyone down. You'll also be a key partner in our SOC 2 and compliance efforts, keeping our controls audit-ready.
Own our internal systems: You'll manage the SaaS tools, devices, and access that Squinters use every day — provisioning, deprovisioning, and everything in between.
Run IT for onboarding and offboarding: You'll make sure every new hire has what they need on day one, and that access is cleanly removed when someone leaves.
Manage vendors and procurement: You'll own relationships with our software and hardware vendors — selection, contracting, renewals, and spend tracking.
Keep the basics tight: You'll own foundational security hygiene (access management, device policies, SSO) in partnership with Engineering.
Support compliance and audits: You'll help maintain our SOC 2 controls and other compliance requirements — pulling evidence, keeping access reviews and device policies audit-ready, and working with Finance/Legal and auditors during review cycles.
Be the go-to for IT issues: When something breaks, you're the first call — and you're building the tooling and runbooks so fewer things break in the first place.
You're the person people go to when something technical breaks and needs fixing now.
You're organized and process-minded, but not bureaucratic about it.
You care about security fundamentals without needing to be a full-time security engineer.
You're comfortable working within a compliance framework (SOC 2 or similar) without treating it as a checkbox exercise.
You're comfortable being a department of one, and building support systems from scratch.
5-8+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a similar role, ideally at a startup.
Experience managing SaaS tooling, device fleets, and vendor relationships.
Working knowledge of core security practices (SSO, access management, device management); experience supporting SOC 2 or similar compliance programs is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and a bias toward clear documentation.

We're hiring a Deployment Engineer to be Squint's technical bridge between our platform and the real world: the factory floors, job sites, and utility yards where our customers actually work.
This isn't a configuration job. Our customers' environments are messy and industrial — legacy systems, spotty connectivity, workers in the field wearing AR headsets instead of sitting at a desk. You'll write real production code to make Squint's knowledge graph and AI workflows work in that environment, for that customer, this week.
You'll work closely with our founding engineering team, embedding directly with named accounts to turn ambiguous operational problems into shipped, working deployments.
You'll be the engineer accountable for getting Squint live at a customer site and proving out its value. You will:
Own deployments end-to-end: From kickoff to go-live, you'll be the engineer accountable for getting Squint live and delivering value at a customer site — no handoffs, no hiding behind a ticket queue.
Build, don't just configure: You'll write production code — integrations, custom workflows, data pipelines — to adapt Squint to each customer's systems, equipment, and terminology.
Go where the work is: You'll spend time on factory floors and in the field, watching how frontline teams actually work, so you can build something they'll actually use.
Close the loop with product: Every deployment teaches us something. You'll turn field learnings into clear, prioritized feedback that shapes Squint's core roadmap.
Earn trust at every level: From the frontline operator to the plant manager to the exec sponsor, you'll be the person customers count on to make Squint work.
You're comfortable being handed an ambiguous, half-defined problem and turning it into a working system.
You communicate as well with a maintenance technician on a factory floor as you do with a VP of Operations.
You're energized, not drained, by travel and time on-site — expect meaningful travel in this role.
3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience — full-stack, backend, or infrastructure — with a track record of shipping production code.
Experience working directly with customers or embedded in a customer's environment (consulting, forward-deployed, or startup implementation experience is a strong plus).
Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action over process.
Genuine interest in industrial operations — manufacturing, field services, or utilities experience is a differentiator, not a requirement.

We're hiring an Enterprise Sales Representative to own and grow relationships with Squint's largest customers.
This is a full-cycle enterprise sales role: you'll build pipeline, run the sales process end-to-end, and close deals with the executives and operators who will put Squint's industrial intelligence platform to work on their factory floors and in the field.

We're hiring a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to be that person. You'll report directly to the CEO, and your week goes wherever the highest-leverage problem is: teaching the sales team to find a bottleneck in a 30-minute discovery call, sitting with engineers to annotate gold-standard time studies, or flying to a customer site to run the workshop yourself. You've fixed factories, not just visited them, and you want to turn that expertise into something a product can eventually do on its own.
This is a cross-functional role by design. You report to the CEO because you will work with every team in the company, helping each one translate what it is world-class at into something that makes a measurable difference on a factory floor.
Define how the world will manufacture with AI. Build the playbook that applies Lean Six Sigma rigor to any customer, in any industry, facing any situation: a discovery process that diagnoses the current state, helps Squint identify the plant's bottleneck, and delivers measurable value at first use, before pricing ever comes up. The processes and playbooks you author become the standard our sales, deployment, and product teams operate by.
With sales: build the go-to-market playbook for AI on the factory floor. Join pre-sales conversations alongside our sales team and build the process that lets us reliably understand a factory's bottleneck, choose the right use case, and speak the customer's language from the first call. Teach the team to recognize whether they're talking to a mature continuous improvement organization or a plant seeing this for the first time, and how to bring a first-of-its-kind product onto the floor with the operators who will run it.
With deployment: make pilots pay off. What we build has to do more than sell; it has to make factories measurably more efficient. Work inside live customer pilots, learn what works and what doesn't, and build the playbook our deployment team uses to reliably turn any pilot into delivered improvement.
With engineering and product: be the operator in the room. Sit with our engineers several times a week to work through real use cases, annotate gold-standard time studies, build the evaluation sets our models are graded against, and shape what gets built for each customer segment. Travel with the team to flagship customer engagements.
With marketing: be the industry voice. Serve as the resident manufacturing expert behind our copy, product marketing, and webinars, and represent Squint on conference stages.
You'll be joining a team of world-class AI builders who are obsessed with The Goal and learning the manufacturing domain at record pace. What they need is a sherpa: someone who has walked the floor for years and can lead them to where the real constraints live.
You've transformed factories before, and you're excited to do it across every industry Squint serves. Your track record is written in throughput, scrap, changeover minutes, or inventory turns, and you can tell the story behind each number. Now you want to bring that rigor to food and beverage, automotive, tires, heavy equipment, paper and packaging, energy, and life sciences, sometimes all in the same week.
You think like an operator. You hold a Black Belt and you still use it. You are not a program manager who picked up the vocabulary.

Right now, nobody at Squint owns that across how product decides what to build, how sales qualifies a plant, how marketing describes us, and how we deliver once the contract is signed.\n\n\n\nWe're hiring a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to be that person. You'll report directly to the CEO, and your week goes wherever the highest-leverage problem is: teaching the sales team to find a bottleneck in a 30-minute discovery call, sitting with engineers to annotate gold-standard time studies, or flying to a customer site to run the workshop yourself. You've fixed factories, not just visited them, and you want to turn that expertise into something a product can eventually do on its own.\n\n\n\n\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\n\nThis is a cross-functional role by design. You report to the CEO because you will work with every team in the company, helping each one translate what it is world-class at into something that makes a measurable difference on a factory floor.\n\n - Define how the world will manufacture with AI. Build the playbook that applies Lean Six Sigma rigor to any customer, in any industry, facing any situation: a discovery process that diagnoses the current state, helps Squint identify the plant's bottleneck, and delivers measurable value at first use, before pricing ever comes up. The processes and playbooks you author become the standard our sales, deployment, and product teams operate by.\n\n - With sales: build the go-to-market playbook for AI on the factory floor. Join pre-sales conversations alongside our sales team and build the process that lets us reliably understand a factory's bottleneck, choose the right use case, and speak the customer's language from the first call. Teach the team to recognize whether they're talking to a mature continuous improvement organization or a plant seeing this for the first time, and how to bring a first-of-its-kind product onto the floor with the operators who will run it.\n\n - With deployment: make pilots pay off. What we build has to do more than sell; it has to make factories measurably more efficient. Work inside live customer pilots, learn what works and what doesn't, and build the playbook our deployment team uses to reliably turn any pilot into delivered improvement.\n\n - With engineering and product: be the operator in the room. Sit with our engineers several times a week to work through real use cases, annotate gold-standard time studies, build the evaluation sets our models are graded against, and shape what gets built for each customer segment. Travel with the team to flagship customer engagements.\n\n - With marketing: be the industry voice. Serve as the resident manufacturing expert behind our copy, product marketing, and webinars, and represent Squint on conference stages.\n\n\n\n\nABOUT YOU\n\nYou'll be joining a team of world-class AI builders who are obsessed with The Goal and learning the manufacturing domain at record pace. What they need is a sherpa: someone who has walked the floor for years and can lead them to where the real constraints live.\n\n - You've transformed factories before, and you're excited to do it across every industry Squint serves. Your track record is written in throughput, scrap, changeover minutes, or inventory turns, and you can tell the story behind each number. Now you want to bring that rigor to food and beverage, automotive, tires, heavy equipment, paper and packaging, energy, and life sciences, sometimes all in the same week.\n\n - You think like an operator. You hold a Black Belt and you still use it. You are not a program manager who picked up the vocabulary.\n\n - You'd be our toughest critic, and you want to build it anyway. You'll spot what our time studies get wrong before anyone else in the room, and you'd rather fix it than write a memo about it.\n\n - You're already automating your own job. You use AI tools every day, you're impatient with how slowly the industry adopts them, and you believe this work is going to be automated. You want to be the one doing the automating.\n\n - You're fast. You move comfortably between a plant floor and an engineering standup, and you keep pace with both.\n\n - You want to build, not advise. A role that looks different in three months is what you're looking for, not something you'd tolerate.\n\n\n\n\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING\n\n - Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.\n\n - Roughly 6 to 10 years inside manufacturing operations, or consulting to manufacturers where you owned the outcome rather than the recommendation.
