With customers (30–40%) — working hands-on to debug integrations, unblock adoption, and help them build amazing things with Tavus.

We’re hiring a Senior AI Researcher to lead research in audio-visual avatar generation. This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, has a track record of pushing generative models to new frontiers, and wants to define what human–AI interaction looks like in practice.
Lead research efforts on audio-visual generation for avatars (Neural Avatars, Talking-Heads), with a focus on conversational settings.
Design models that are coupled with conversation flow — capturing and generating verbal + non-verbal signals in sync.
Drive innovation in diffusion models, long-video generation, and audio-visual modeling.
Translate research into production by partnering with Applied ML and engineering.
Mentor researchers, set research directions, and publish impactful work.

We’re looking for a holistic thinker who understands that a user’s journey doesn't start at the login screen; it starts with the first frame of a video or the first pixel of a landing page. You will spend roughly 80% of your time pushing the boundaries of our brand: crafting high-fidelity web experiences, cinematic marketing assets, and narrative-driven campaigns. The remaining 20% will be spent embedded within the product team, smoothing the seams between marketing and product and ensuring user journeys are cohesive from first impressions through the user lifecycle.

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure) to own the systems behind CVI, our real-time conversational product. Every live conversation between a person and a PAL runs on infrastructure your team owns. We're looking for an Enterprise Account Executive with a self-starter mindset and a builder's mentality to join our GTM Sales Team. This is a rare opportunity to accelerate your career: you'll play a defining role in shaping our sales motion, carry customer feedback directly into our product roadmap, and own revenue that drives business growth. Own the full sales cycle. Manage enterprise accounts end to end, from self-sourced lead generation and qualification through negotiation, closing, and renewals.
Build pipeline. Generate pipeline from ICP accounts through value-driven outbounding: research, networking, and disciplined prospecting that open new enterprise relationships and expand deployment capacity.
Negotiate and close complex deals. Lead negotiations, handle objections, and move contracts forward quickly and effectively, partnering closely with legal and finance stakeholders.

4+ years in an enterprise, customer-facing sales role, with a strong track record of identifying and closing large, net-new accounts.
Experience in complex solution sales, including managing a $1M+ quota and consistently closing six- and seven-figure deals.
Consistent performance against pipeline-generation targets for net-new business.
Proven prospecting and lead-generation skills: research, networking, and outbound that reliably build enterprise pipeline.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
An analytical mindset able to read market trends, spot opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
Experience selling Conversational AI
Experience as an early sales hire at a fast-growing startup, including building GTM strategies, sales teams, and sales motions from scratch or from early-stage growth.

Tavus is scaling fast on the back of our Series B, and pipeline is the engine. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll own the top of our funnel: hunting the developers, product leaders, and GTM executives building the next generation of AI-powered experiences.
You’ll run an AI-native outbound motion: signal-based prospecting, deeply personalized multi-channel outreach, and, naturally, using your own AI replica to sell the very product you represent.
• Own the top-of-funnel pipeline by driving outbound across email, phone, LinkedIn, video, and other creative channels, including outreach powered by Tavus itself (your AI twin works while you sleep)
• Build and run AI-native prospecting workflows: enrich and prioritize accounts with tools like Clay and Apollo, act on product and intent signals, and automate the busywork so you can focus on the conversations that matter
• Qualify and convert inbound and product-led signals (self-serve developer signups, API usage spikes, and hackathon builders) into enterprise opportunities
• Identify, research, and prioritize high-potential accounts aligned to our ideal customer profile across AI-native startups and enterprise product teams
• Represent Tavus at industry events, conferences, hackathons, and meetups to generate leads and spark strategic conversations
• Partner with AEs to run strategic outbound plays and qualify new opportunities
• Refine messaging based on what you’re hearing in the field and contribute ideas to improve outreach performance
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and contribute to ongoing improvements in reporting and process
• Share field intelligence with marketing and product to help shape positioning and roadmap
• 1–2 years in a BDR, SDR, or event-driven sales role, ideally at an AI, developer tools, or API-first SaaS startup
• Strong verbal and written communication skills: you can hold your own with a staff engineer evaluating our API and a VP of CX evaluating ROI in the same day
• AI-native by default: you already use AI tools daily to research, write, and automate, and you’re energized by building outbound systems, not just working a list

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to be a technical driver on Tavus's Conversational Video Interface, our multimodal real-time conversational product. It's a hands-on role. Your code runs in the middle of live conversations between people and PALs.
Ship features end-to-end. You'll take product priorities that start out loosely defined, like voice localization for accent support or multilingual sentence endpointing, and turn them into a spec, an architecture, and shipped features.
Partner with Research to bring state-of-the-art real-time models into CVI. Sometimes that means dipping into research territory yourself.
Fix what you find. If you spot a flaky process or a slow path, you don't need a ticket or anyone's permission to go after it.

We’re looking for an experienced Research Scientist/Engineer with a focus on model optimization to join our core AI team.

Take cutting-edge research models and make them fast, efficient, and production-ready using sparsification, distillation, and quantization
Own the optimization lifecycle for key models: define metrics, run experiments, and benchmark trade-offs across latency, cost, and quality
Partner closely with researchers and engineers to turn new ideas into deployable systems
Strong experience in deep learning using PyTorch
Hands-on experience with model optimization and compression, including knowledge distillation, pruning/sparsification, quantization, and mixed precision
Understanding of efficient architectures such as low-rank adapters
Strong understanding of inference performance and GPU/accelerator fundamentals
Strong Python coding skills and reliable research engineering practices
Experience working with large models and datasets in cloud environments
Ability to read ML papers, reproduce results, and adapt ideas
Clear communication and collaboration skills
Optimization of diffusion models, video/audio generative models, or large language models
Experience with real-time or streaming systems (low-latency APIs, WebRTC, streaming TTS/video)
Familiarity with TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, TVM, Triton, or XLA
Experience writing custom Triton/CUDA kernels or low-level performance tuning
Experience with experiment tracking, benchmarking, and profiling at scale
Prior experience in research engineering or applied science roles
This position is preferably hybrid in San Francisco, with relocation support offered. Remote candidates are also considered.
