About the role
Vesta has found product-market fit. Lenders run their business on our system of record, and we're at the point where AI lets us automate work that used to take rooms of people. You'd:
Own a product area end to end: understand the customer problems, write precise specs, and drive execution with engineering and design
Become an industry expert, providing the mortgage and business context the team needs to solve the most important customer problems
Work closely with Vesta's existing and prospective customers to deeply understand their needs and problems
Shape how AI gets applied to a real, regulated industry
Help shape the product team and its culture, and Vesta's as well
Note: We don't expect you to have a deep understanding of the nuances of the mortgage process or industry initially. However, success in this role will require a high degree of curiosity, persistence, and willingness to learn the mortgage ecosystem.

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $175,000 - $225,000/yr. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

About your role
You’ll work alongside full-stack engineers, bringing deep backend and systems expertise to ensure the product functionality we build is scalable and reliable. You will be partnering closely with product and engineering teammates to design, build, and operate backend systems that directly support customer-facing features as they grow in complexity and usage.
Working at an early-stage startup means there is a strong sense of ownership across the team. While we support flexible schedules and trust people to manage their time, there will be moments when mission-critical work requires extra effort outside of typical working hours. You’ll be expected to take ownership of the backend and systems aspects of product features from early design through production and scale to ensure the product continues to perform reliably as the business grows.
We intentionally keep this role flexible and tailored to individual strengths. The areas below are not rigid requirements, but examples of experience that are especially relevant for the engineers we’re looking for:
Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment where mission-critical work may occasionally require effort outside typical working hours.
Experience building and operating production-grade distributed systems that support real product functionality at meaningful scale
Strong backend engineering focus; full-stack experience is welcome, but deep systems and backend expertise is essential
Hands-on experience working with multi-service architectures in a production environment
Ownership of performance, reliability, and scalability work tied directly to product features (e.g., query optimization, indexing, identifying and resolving system bottlenecks)
Fluency in using modern AI tooling as part of your development workflow
Proficiency in at least one strongly typed backend language (C#, Java, Kotlin, Go, or similar)
Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning
Familiarity with cloud-based production environments (AWS preferred), and experience with technologies such as Kafka, Redis, or similar infrastructure components
Strong systems design instincts, with the ability to reason about scalability, performance, and reliability tradeoffs as product features evolve
Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy, owning backend responsibilities end-to-end while collaborating closely with full-stack engineers
Strong bias toward building practical, iterative solutions to real business problems, with minimal process overhead or unnecessary meetings

Because we try to tailor the role to the strengths of every team member, most items listed are not hard requirements, but some areas of experience that may be relevant are:
Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment where mission-critical work may occasionally require effort outside typical working hours.
Strong full-stack web development skills – experience working on products used by at least thousands of users.
Current expertise in C# .Net or other statically typed languages (e.g. Java, Scala, Kotlin)
Current proficiency in React state management is required
Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
Proficiency with modern AI development tools in a professional environment

Your work will likely span our entire codebase, but your primary focus will be on scaling and maturing our platform to handle the entire mortgage market. About the role:
As an Implementation Manager at Vesta, you'll work closely with the team to:
lead end to end implementation projects with our clients, from sales handoff through user testing and post-go-live, managing multiple stakeholders and critical timelines, all while setting our customers up for long-term success.
become a Vesta product expert, understanding the nuances of how our product supports our customer’s wide ranging needs, overseeing the configuration and customization of the LOS, and acting as a solutions consultant throughout the implementation lifecycle.
collaborate with cross-functional teams, in particular product, sales, and engineering, to ensure we deliver the right expectations, solutions, and development velocity for our clients.
develop and maintain project documentation, such as project plans, status reports, etc, to help internal and external teams assess progress, next steps, and to help mitigate potential risks and issues.
build strong relationships with our customer stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and single point of contact for all implementation related work.

An ideal candidate for this role has deep experience designing and operating reliable distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and developer platforms at scale. About your role
Your primary focus will be scaling and maturing Vesta’s infrastructure to support the entire mortgage market reliably, securely, and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for building the foundational systems that power engineering velocity and platform reliability, including cloud architecture, deployment systems, observability, incident response, and internal developer tooling.
Because the responsibilities of this role are broad and evolving, we’re looking for engineers with strong experience building and operating infrastructure at scale. About the role
As we grow our team of analysts at Vesta, you’ll work closely with our product, engineering, partnerships, and implementations teams across a variety of mission critical projects. In this role, you can expect to:
become a Vesta product expert, understanding how to test all functionality within the platform, and diligently document test cases with a high attention to detail.

Who you are
You have 3+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, specifically navigating and working with mortgage systems either on the operational/process side or on the technical/IT side. Experience working with Loan Origination Systems is a big plus, and experience in pricing and/or secondary marketing — PPE configuration, lock desk operations, investor delivery, loan sale workflows, or hedging — is a huge plus. This is an area where deep domain knowledge translates directly into product impact.
You are highly technical, or technically adept with a strong desire to go deeper. You're comfortable working closely with engineers and product managers, reading API documentation, reasoning about data schemas, and pulling apart JSON/XML payloads to understand what's actually happening under the hood. Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, basic SQL, or scripting to validate data is a major plus. Technical acumen isn't optional in this role — it's central to it.
You are curious and hungry to identify, triage, and help solve any problem you come across, big or small, and you're excited to apply your depth of knowledge across a variety of projects.

About your role
As the first dedicated product marketer at Vesta, you'll have the opportunity to shape the work we do and how we operate. Your primary responsibility will be helping the largest mortgage lenders in America understand what our products do, and explaining the value that they deliver. More broadly, you'll also help customers and prospects rethink how mortgage processing will work in a time when people and AI agents work side-by-side processing loans.

An ideal candidate for this position will have:
A minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing, with the majority in B2B product marketing.
Deep experience marketing to enterprise audiences, with a demonstrated ability to understand complex buying committees, long sales cycles, and sophisticated business needs.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a proven track record of explaining complex technical concepts in ways that executive, technical, and non-technical audiences can understand.

As the first Technical Integration Specialist on the Partnerships team, you'll
Be the go-to technical contact for the partnerships team, joining meetings alongside partnerships managers, answering technical questions, and leading demos of completed integrations.
Be the first to review a partner's technical documentation, comparing how their systems handle data (including MISMO fields) to how Vesta does, and giving the product manager a clear summary of what's involved and where the gaps are.

About the role
Vesta is hiring a Head of Customer Success team member to own and build the post-implementation customer experience. This is a foundational, high-impact role responsible for ensuring our customers realize meaningful, measurable value from Vesta long after go-live.
Early on, you’ll own several of our most strategic relationships, our largest and most complex accounts, and serve as their primary strategic partner. Your focus will be driving adoption, deepening engagement with new functionality, reinforcing best practices, and ensuring Vesta evolves alongside our customers’ businesses. While Sales will own commercial renewals, you will play a critical role in retention by maintaining strong executive relationships and ensuring customers consistently see operational impact.
You’ll build the function. You’re the first hire in this org, and you’ll set its foundation: engagement models, success metrics, health signals, feedback loops to Product, and the operating cadence that scales as we grow. You’ll hire, shape, and manage the first individual contributors on your team, and you’ll decide how accounts are segmented and distributed as the book grows.
You and your team will act as the quarterbacks for our customer accounts — coordinating cross-functionally when issues arise, acting as a senior escalation point, advocating for customers internally, and ensuring alignment between Product, Support, Implementation, and Sales.
This role requires both strategic thinking and operational rigor — someone who can zoom out to shape the future of Customer Success at Vesta while staying close to the details that drive customer outcomes.
What this role is not
This is not a commercial role. You will not own or negotiate renewals, upsells, expansions, or pricing. These activities sit under the Head of Revenue, and it is the Customer Success org's mandate to surface risk and opportunity signals, and hand them off.
This is not a support role. Day to day issues and ticket resolution are owned by the Support org. Customer success is not a second support queue or a way for our clients to skip the line, though you should expect escalations from time to time.
This role does not own implementation or project management. Implementation Managers lead delivery and launch; Customer Success owns the post–go-live strategic relationship, adoption, and value realization.
This role is not purely operational or programmatic. Systems, metrics, and playbooks matter, but the role requires direct, credible engagement with sophisticated lender stakeholders and strong judgment in ambiguous, cross-functional situations.You’ve built a Customer Success function before — ideally from zero — and you know what it takes to go from “no playbook” to a team that runs on its own. You’ve done the first-hire, first-process, first-metric work and you’re energized by doing it again.

This is a foundational, high-impact role responsible for ensuring our customers realize meaningful, measurable value from Vesta long after go-live.\n\nEarly on, you’ll own several of our most strategic relationships, our largest and most complex accounts, and serve as their primary strategic partner. Who you are
You love creating the infrastructure a People function runs on: developmental frameworks that make managers genuinely good at their jobs, leveling architectures that keep a fast-growing company consistent, and comp philosophy that holds under pressure. You've partnered directly with the manager tier and become a trusted collaborator. You're strategic, not procedural: if a loop isn't working, you rebuild it rather than repeat it. About the role
This role is structured around two things you'll own end to end. The first is program and platform work: leveling, comp philosophy, and management development. The second is being the trusted HR business partner to our engineering manager tier, with a growing set of managers across the company over time.
Create the platforms
Design the leveling framework at a company level. Define what each level means and looks like across every function. Set the standards for how someone gets promoted, how leveling stays consistent as new roles are added, and how one function's Level 4 compares to another's. This is the foundation the rest of our development, comp, and performance conversations sit on top of.
Develop how Vesta develops its people. Form a shared point of view on what success looks like at each level. Turn the leveling framework into real conversations: development plans, promotions, calibration, and honest feedback about where someone is at on their career journey.
Stand up management development as a program. Managing people isn't a job anyone gets good at by accident. Design the program that turns people who are new to that work into people who are good at it.
Own comp philosophy. How we pay, how we level, how we structure cash, equity, and bonus. Consistent leveling and clear philosophy matter more as the company gets bigger. Ambiguity here corrodes trust faster than almost anything.
Partner with the manager tier
Be the trusted HR partner to our managers. Mostly engineering managers today, with a growing manager population across the rest of the company over time. Work with them on performance, comp calibration, promotions, ER cases, development conversations, and the harder people moments.
Keep the foundation running
Own employee relations. Handle the cases directly, and create the frameworks and playbooks that make good outcomes repeatable as the company grows.
Own compliance and employment law. Multi state US employment law, policies, records, and filings: the groundwork that lets managers move with confidence and the company scale without surprises.

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $160,000 - $190,000/yr. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

AI tools like Juicebox, Claude, and purpose built recruiting platforms are already a core part of how you work, or you're eager to make them so. You're also organized, detail oriented, and someone people can count on when it's coordination time, because you know that how someone is treated during the process shapes whether they say yes to an offer and how they talk about Vesta afterward.

This role has two sides. Sourcing across our open roles is where you'll spend most of your time. Recruiting coordination and candidate experience is a meaningful part of the role too, and how you learn the full lifecycle of recruiting from the inside out.
Sourcing
Source like it's 2026. Juicebox and other AI sourcing platforms are a daily part of how you work. Search on natural language, surface non obvious profiles, and cut research time so more of your energy goes into the candidate conversation.
Find talent other recruiters miss. Go beyond LinkedIn. Bring a fresh angle to every req and get better at it as you go.
Write outreach that gets responses. Specific, human, and tailored, not a template blasted at a hundred people. Use Claude and ChatGPT to personalize at scale, but never at the cost of specificity. The bar is that a candidate can tell you actually spent time on them.
Get calibrated fast with hiring managers. You can't find great until you know what great is, and hiring managers won't feel confident in your pipeline until you've been in the trenches with them a few times.
Recruiting coordination and candidate experience
Own how candidates experience Vesta. From the first message through their first day, you're the connective tissue that makes our process feel considered rather than chaotic. Every touchpoint a candidate sees is one you shape.
Keep the recruiting machine running. When the team is moving fast, you're the reason nothing drops.
Bring craft to the details. A well written confirmation, a smart interview panel arrangement, a clean debrief packet. The specifics separate a good recruiting operation from a great one.
Across both
Use AI across the whole role. Beyond sourcing, lean on Claude and ChatGPT to draft communications, summarize interviews, clean data, and cut the mechanical work down. The goal is more of your time on the moments that need real judgment. Keep raising your own bar here as new tools come out.
Grow into your path. You'll get real exposure to sourcing and coordination from day one. Over time, we'll partner with you on where you want to specialize (technical recruiter, dedicated sourcer, or GTM recruiter) and shape the role to lean in that direction.
Hold the bar. Whether you're writing an outreach message or scheduling an interview, treat it like it matters, because it does.
