Role Overview:
As a Staff R&D AI Engineer, you will lead the development of cutting-edge AI systems that bridge computer vision, natural language understanding, and action learning. You'll architect and implement Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, advance reinforcement learning applications, and push the boundaries of multimodal AI integration. This role combines deep expertise in both computer vision and large language models with hands-on experience in reinforcement learning to create intelligent systems that can understand, reason about, and interact with complex environments. You'll drive research initiatives, mentor technical teams, and translate breakthrough AI research into practical applications across diverse domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models that integrate visual perception, natural language understanding, and action prediction

About the Role:
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the multiple leaders. About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Staff Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in Large Language Models (LLMs) and/or Mixture of Experts (MoEs). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and deploying advanced AI models. About The Role:
We are looking for Senior and Staff Engineers to support webAI’s initiatives focused on secure, distributed, and resilient AI infrastructure.
Here’s where it’s tricky. We know decentralized systems and distributed systems have a lot of overlap, but they aren’t exactly the same thing. In our opinion decentralized systems have a connotation of trustless environments, and that’s the knowledge we are looking for in this role. Taking it a step further of what would be great to have in this role, is experience developing tech that looks more like IPFS, torrents, etc. than blockchain, but we also know a lot of those concepts overlap too.
Responsibilities:
Work in backend systems languages to design and implement advanced synchronization and networking systems that enable reliable AI operations across heterogeneous environments, from edge devices to cloud isolated systems, while upholding the highest standards of performance, reliability, and data privacy.
Architect robust data synchronization frameworks using content addressable storage, Merkle trees, CRDTs
Lead performance tuning, debugging, and optimization of distributed software under resource constrained and intermittent connectivity conditions.
Ensure security first design through threat modeling, secure key management, and integration of cryptographic primitives and protocols.
Collaborate with MLOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to deploy and integrate AI components in restricted or air gapped systems.
Contribute to cross functional architectural design discussions and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain rigorous testing, observability, and validation practices to ensure system reliability and compliance readiness.
Other areas touched on may include distributed hash tables, content identifiers, gossip protocols, DAGs, overlay networks, and NAT traversal
Please note: Development will be done in Rust and you’ll be able to get up to speed on Rust while working with these systems if you haven’t worked in it

About the Role:
webAI is building the first end-to-end private AI platform. Enterprises and governments use it to bring AI to their own data - powering specialized intelligence trained on their knowledge that compounds in value with every use. Customers build those solutions themselves, on our developer platform: the SDKs and APIs they write against, the path from first setup to production, the templates that give them a head start, and the services and community that carry them the rest of the way. We are looking for a high-agency PM to own this.
As Senior Product Manager, Developer Platform, you own the surface every application is built on. Your users are internal today - the teams shipping our first applications and standing up our earliest customer deployments - and external soon: the platform is designed for customers to build on it directly, and set themselves up without hand-holding, which makes the shape of the Developer Platform fundamental to our product.
You'll take this on with the work already in motion - significant architectural improvements underway, and early customers already using the platform. The decisions made here set the foundation everything else is built on. You'll own that work end to end and set the roadmap that follows.
Responsibilities:
Own the developer platform end to end - the SDKs, APIs, developer experience, self-serve onboarding, solution templates, and community support - from the problem each solves to what ships.
Translate the needs and pain points of internal and external developers into a coherent platform that unlocks the use cases and markets it's built for. This means engaging those developers and customers directly, not working from secondhand requirements.
Drive the high-stakes initiatives currently in flight to their committed timelines, and own the roadmap for what follows.
Own the path from first touch to production - the self-serve setup, documentation, and solution templates that get a developer from nothing to a working build without hand-holding. Internal first, external as the platform opens to self-serve.
Make the calls on SDK and API design alongside engineering - surface shape, versioning, ergonomics - with a clear view of what external developers will eventually build against.
Ingest requirements from adjacent teams, and arbitrate them into the platform roadmap where they compete.
Shape how the developer community and support scale as the external audience grows.
Establish and evolve the product patterns the platform is designed and extended against, and bring engineering, applications, and leadership along with them.
Qualifications:
6+ years in product management, with a track record of owning technical products end to end, from problem framing through ship.
Enough technical depth to hold your own in an architecture discussion - you can reason credibly about API design, versioning, system boundaries, and the tradeoffs behind them, and earn the trust of the engineers building them.
Proven ability to engage developers and customers directly, internal or external, surface their real pains, and turn that into product direction. This is core to the role.
A track record of driving high-stakes, cross-functional initiatives to committed timelines with minimal oversight.
Comfort owning a broad surface across several partnering teams, arbitrating competing requirements without losing momentum.
Communication sharp enough to carry product rationale to any audience, from engineers to executives.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience building a developer platform, developer tools, SDKs, or APIs - you've felt the pain points firsthand and know what makes a platform something other engineers want to build on.
An engineering background, or hands-on technical experience that lets you go deep with the team rather than around it.
Experience taking a product from internal-only to external self-serve.
Experience with self-serve or product-led motions, developer community, or DevRel - you know how adoption compounds when the community starts to support and resolve questions.
Familiarity with distributed systems, edge computing, or decentralized architectures.
Experience treating developer documentation as a product surface in its own right.
