We're looking for a Staff Developer who genuinely cares about building things well. You'll take on the hardest technical problems, champion best practices, and bridge the gap between where our systems are today and where they need to be as we scale. Your impact:
Design and maintain scalable, secure software architectures aligned with business goals, resulting in robust and reliable systems
Introduce and implement best practices around OO, DDD, and microservices where appropriate
Use AI to streamline processes, reduce friction, and give time back to developers for the work that matters
Implement and enforce coding standards and best practices, driving measurable improvements in code quality and maintainability
Conduct regular code reviews with feedback that meaningfully reduces bug counts and improves software performance
Facilitate clear communication between development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to keep projects aligned

You bring:
6+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
A mastery of fundamentals: solid coding principles, domain-driven design, performant code and queries, unit and integration testing
Experience leading projects involving scale, concurrency, queuing, background processing, and efficient ingestion of third-party data
A security mindset: OWASP, secure development, and SOC-2 processes
Experience deploying resources outside of app dev (AWS, RDS, queues, serverless)
Track record of using AI to simplify workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and shift focus toward meaningful work
Strong data engineering skills: complex SQL queries, optimization, ETL
Comfortable working across data warehouse and analytics tooling to surface insights, track down errors, and inform performance improvements

We’re looking for a passionate, quick-thinking Customer Care Team Lead to jump in and drive our department KPIs. This is your chance to be instrumental in shaping ZayZoon's Customer Care organization, driving us toward our massive goal: saving 10 million employees $10 Billion.

Lead a team of motivated Customer Care individuals who are focused on driving customer success in order to deliver on operational KPIs
Monitor customer service performance on the agent and team level
Support your team by being present and approachable, answering questions, facilitating 1:1s, coaching sessions, broader team meetings, and providing real-time feedback to your team
Establish and manage your team to individual and team goals and objectives
Assist in report creation reflecting support performance and/or conversation details
Monitor the Customer Care queues and assign resources to ensure we meet our targets
Coordinate and lead ZayZoon new hire training for Customer Care
Own “escalated” customer communications through to resolution
Provide input on all scheduling for Customer Care - holiday scheduling, time off, and day-to-day scheduling
Deliver on projects to support KPIs and metrics, as well as continuously improve our existing infrastructure
Support cross-functional projects by collaborating with key partners such as Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Product, Sales, and Marketing
Utilize deep product and industry knowledge to drive operational efficiency applying best practices across processes, tooling, automation, outsourcing etc
You bring:
4+ years of experience in a support environment with inbound communication
2+ years of people leadership experience where you were responsible for managing performance
Process Improvement & change management experience
Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with Intercom, ZenDesk, JIRA, and HubSpot (or similar)

About the role:
As a Client Account Manager at ZayZoon, you’ll be the trusted partner for some of our largest and most complex clients. You’ll get to know their business, their people, and what success looks like to them, then help them get the most out of ZayZoon. The work matters: when a client uses ZayZoon well, more of their employees can access their pay when they need it most. You’ll have real ownership over your accounts, a team that has your back, and room to shape how we manage and grow client relationships as we grow.
Your impact:
Be the go-to advisor for a portfolio of high-value clients, connecting what ZayZoon offers to their business goals and the needs of their teams
Grow your accounts by spotting where clients could get more from ZayZoon and building a plan for each one to increase usage and long-term value
Lead business reviews and planning sessions with decision makers to look at results, recognize progress, and find what’s next
Step in when tricky issues come up, including support queries and escalations, rallying the right people internally and seeing things through until the client is taken care of
Bring the client’s voice to Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Care by sharing feedback, testing new offerings, and helping improve how we work
Build lasting partnerships that keep clients with us, keep accounts in good standing, and turn into success stories worth sharing
Help the whole team get better by sharing what works, keeping our resources current, running training sessions, and smoothing out workflows
You bring:
2+ years in a client-facing role where you built relationships, grew accounts, and helped clients get more out of a product
Experience managing your own book of clients, finding upsell opportunities, and working with internal teams to solve problems
A track record of creating and running adoption plans that led to results you can point to
Comfort turning data into clear, practical recommendations for clients
The judgment to balance urgent client needs with longer-term growth work, and to know which one needs you right now
Comfort using AI tools to work smarter, and a curiosity about finding new ways to make your day easier
Familiarity with CRM and ticketing tools like HubSpot, Intercom, or Jira
